The little shorty local was doing his job again providing potatoes for the hungry folks of Cincinnati. That last train was a medley of freight cars and had a new player for all the gondolas that being OmniSource scrap. Another awesome video JT and man I just wanted to say thank you for the birthday shout out. I really appreciate that brother because I’ve been watching your videos I know for at least 5 are 6 years now but anyway, my friend as always y’all stay safe out there and try to stay dry and always watch you back my friend and we’ll see you on the next one but thank you again
Great video JT! I didn't get a count on the last train. I wish I would have 😢. I want to thank you for braving the rain to get these trains by the Indy sub. 😊 I appreciate all the trouble you go through to get all of these trains! I know at times it's a hardship and it shows your dedication. You should get an award. I'm sure TH-cam has one , and if not they should. I wish you a fabulous week coming up and please be safe. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your comments Gary! TH-cam did send me a plaque a couple years ago when I got to 100K. The next one doesn't come until a million. I hope I make it lol
White freezer cars often are fast freight orders! That's why it's a short local! Great project for model railroaders! Thanks, great catch at new location for you!
Hey, Jaw Tooth! Thanks for the shout out. My kids got a real kick out of it. And, I watch all your stuff. I learn a lot about trains from your videos. Thanks, again. Paul Dungan
@@timmyfrierson2684 You're certainly welcome, Timmy! I'm going to be 68 on May 4th if I live until then. I don't get around near as well as I used to. But hey, we're senior citizens now, right? Enjoy your day on Thursday ! 😊😊😊
Just for info that isn't a wye in Hamilton or New River Jct. A wye is a triangular junction with three tracks where turning an engine or equipment would be possible. Those are just junctions that you visited.
Somebodys' spelling is off, it should be "WYE" and not "WHY". It's possible W H Y is a control point designation. Cool train meet. Excellent video again, thanks JT!
D-P-U-I-C-U. Man the manifest train had a lot of locos and a DPU moving it, lot of power but a long train. Rail fan salute from the CSX, I remember a different kind of salute you got from one engineer several videos back. That guy must have been miserable that day! Jaw, you hit the jackpot on trains today. Great video!
Wow! That was a fabulous NS mixed freight JT! There was a great array of different cars, including some brand new covered hoppers that looked very sharp. Everything looked so small from where you filmed that they looked pretty funny! I counted 189 cars but could be off 1 or 2. Excellent catch JT!
Those were a couple of nice trains that you caught at the New River, Ohio near the fire station, Jaw Tooth! The two CSX trains that you caught in Hamilton, Ohio, at the wye where the Hamilton depot was originally located, were both long trains. The CSX train coming off the CSX Indy Sub backed up the traffic on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Thank you for uploading this video for us to enjoy.
That steel load on the flat car with the blue tarp was supposed to be kept dry looks like but the tarp pulled off some at the front. Hope rain didn't hurt the load.
I heard the one on the Indy sub passing MP 28.3 signal. I was actually thinking about standing in the middle of the lot where the station used to be. I couldn't get there in time unless I walked over the tracks but I didn't want to do that.
That was quite a tonnage of traffic past there, for sure. The last one was as long as the Intermodal. I lost count again, with the articulated sets, I count the decks/containers but take an eye off to check for the 5-deck articulated ones and the count goes out the window. Nice one JT. I hope you didn't get too wet. Thanks again. Cheers!
I might have to give up counting cars - lately they're so long, I tend to doze off, or my mind wanders and I lose count. Hey, I'll be 65 in July, so I'm entitled to doze off! 😄I tried looking up WHY on the Indy sub, but came up empty. I'm thinking something like West Hamilton Yard, but maybe if someone lets you know, you could share that in another video. Thanks again for another great video, Brian!
@@JawTooth Thank u so much. I did have an awesome day. All my kids took me to dinner. It's so hard to get them all together with their schedules. Made it that much more special.

Thanks JT for another great Jaw Tooth full-length video. I enjoyed the recent long run of Jaw Tooth Shorts, but very glad to see another longer video! Loved the big tanker cars, they're way bigger than the older smaller ones. Also, thanks for clarifying that the axle count includes the locomotives - now I know :-)
752 axles minus 36 for the locomotives (6) gives us a healthy 188 car train. Of those 6 engines, likely 3 were dead in consist, being moved for some reason.
Jaw tooth I'm making a request.csx has finally came out with it's family lines herit age unit ,if possible can you catch it would enjoy this one so much thanx!!!!

Nice video. Do you have a reference manual to find railroad frequencies to listen to on your various trips? If so, will you share that information? Thank you!
You should come film some trains at St. Denis MARC Station, and around Baltimore MD
There was an abundance of power on the far track train! 😊😊😊❤❤❤

It's flyover time for places like that. You need an eye in the sky.
Ok, so it's really a diverging track and not a true " Y", but you still can call it the WHY Y. Sorry I couldn't pass it up. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Fair enough!
Always nice to see Norfie for a few moments. Probably one of the best known cats on TH-cam. 🐾🙂

The WHY sign is reminding brake people or conductors to check the cars for defects.
Odd (green) sign for sure. If it was meant as a notification of a track configuration it shoud have been spelled "WYE" as opposed to "why".
