Just out of pure curiosity, what time was it when you did the hike? Loved it. As always, can't wait for the rest of the upcoming streams and videos of this project man.
Thank you for taking us on this amazing walk with you. I love how you give info on the surrounding areas and when you speak Japanese. This was so therapeutic. The quiet, the lushness, the shrines and of course, the waterfall - stunning! All so representative of just how wonderfully diverse Japan is. To me, Japan is an international treasure. ♥️
Look at that. The video starts at the end of my work day. A perfect reward, and something to look forward towards. It's been a bit since I visited the waterfalls by my house, maybe this is my excuse to see them again.
That was incredible! I love waterfalls and canyons like that! If I ever get to Japan, I would love to visit a place like that. And my curious brain wants to know if the little channel was made as a way to run water to the village or to some of the farmers' fields. Maybe there was a waterwheel there once. I'm curious what the roadside shrine was dedicated to. The guardian statues looked almost like fu dogs. Thank you so much for sharing these journeys!
An another wonderfull walk! Best thing is your voice in combination with the nature. I just hope to catch another Livestream. Save travels and see you in the next video.
Definitely my favorite was the second look at the waterfall from a bit further away where you can see the 3 mini waterfalls coming off the raised pool at the base of the main falls!
Yep, that's gorgeous. I do really enjoy seeing that blue water, too much murky brown water here in the Netherlands. Thanks for showing this wonderful place. Another place to remember.
Awesome video as always Norm. The waterfall was so spectacular and amazing I can’t stay there all day just sitting watching and listening so peaceful thanks for showing us something so magical.
Woke up at 2am, it is now 4am and my alarm goes off in 2 hours...these usually help me relax so hoping it works this time, too. If not at least I'll get to enjoy this instead of staring at a wall 😅
That waterfall was majestic..... i am amazed at how nimble you are lol walking on paths with little to no walk space... and then staring down at the water... I'd be freaking out lol
Ohhh waterfall sounds incredible! I'm SO looking forward to this hike. ♥ Edit after the premiere: okay I am STILL mesmerized by the color of the water.
Such amazing views and what a peaceful walk. Reminded me of a secluded waterfall I hiked to in Yellowstone a few years back. It was just sounds of water and birds, no other people around for miles. It’s easy to get lost in those moments… certainly a hike I hope that I’ll never forget- much like this one for you. Thanks for taking us along for the ride as always!
A nice peaceful walk through the woods. With a waterfall to top it off. It's very smart to do these videos in one shot. It is the only way to get to release one video a day.
This was an incredible video. If it werent for my bum leg and allergy flare right now I’d be about and exploring or something. That looms stunning. I may use this videos scenery as inspiration to paint soon.😊
thanks for sharing your walk with us, it was relaxing and lovely to see the scenery. I wish I had your energy, speed and fearless nature when out walking as I would've been REALLY slow going down the windy stairs in the forest and walking around the water that I wouldn't have been game jumping from rock to rock. And yes I would come to this lovely waterfall, anything with running water is soothing and I'd happily sit there for hours watching it running by or reading a book or sleeping cause sooo relaxing And now I get your reference to potato camera in livestream this morning LOL
I'm slowly starting to plan my trip to Japan (hopefully next year!). I for sure want to make this hike happen. Hurray for the newsletter so I'll know how to find it!
A beautiful forest walk with a surprise at the end. My favorite part is the water. I could sit and look at the light play in the water for a long time. What's this about leeches?? Are they in the forest and the water? Love from the Southern California desert 🏜 🎉❤
Been cleaning to these videos recently lots of sorting of generations of stuff... it has been a nice visual compared to my view of boxes in a basement lol
So, so pretty! Thank you for the wonderful view (and the volume warning by the waterfall)! What a gorgeous hike followed by the sort of scenery that makes you forget your office day for a few moments!
Such a beautiful walk, thanks again Norm. Reminded me of the Minoh Park walk and Falls. I even spotted my first wild Giant Salamander in the river there. Just awesome.
Tuned in for the last minute or so of the premier, so I immediately went back and am watching from the beginning now! Love watching your adventures and this trip has been really fun with a variety of areas!
Loved the look of the dam, gives me anime vibes. Also just finished watching your Oshio ? video, the one you had on your last day in Shikoku I believe ? And it made me realize, all of these places in Japan remind me of anime ( like, it makes me say : that could be in an anime/ that looks straight out of an anime ) because most of the scenery, landscapes, places from anime are straight out of Japan. Should've realized that sooner, like I kind of already had that vibe before but I fully realized it just a couple of hours ago while watching that stream vod. I shouldn't say "that thing looks straight out of an anime" and instead say "why isn't that in an anime yet"
Wow!! ANOTHER VIDEO?! And a forest hike?? What a great day!!
Just out of pure curiosity, what time was it when you did the hike?
Loved it.

Great video. Would love to know the location as I need a few more hiking spots for my trip next week.

There's an ancient Japanese spirit in there that will give you a Main Quest.
I am MAD jealous
A sunny day to go with your daily adventure means my day is made.
Look at that. The video starts at the end of my work day. A perfect reward, and something to look forward towards. It's been a bit since I visited the waterfalls by my house, maybe this is my excuse to see them again.
Absolutely stunning nature. Thank you for a lovely walk.
The bird sounds are beautiful.

nice, I think it would look cool on a misty morning.
Omg I’d love to just sit by that waterfall, meditate some and just relax.
Great little place there, would love to visit these places if I ever decide to do another extended trip in Japan

A wonderful waterfall. Thanks for the adventure
Forests and waterfalls. My favourite. Thank you ❤
Loved this one, the start is amazing but the waterfall area even better!
Woke up at 2am, it is now 4am and my alarm goes off in 2 hours...these usually help me relax so hoping it works this time, too. If not at least I'll get to enjoy this instead of staring at a wall 😅
A prefect day for a walk. I really liked the sound of the waterfall . Thanks Norm it made feel better after a busy day at work.
Keep them coming Norm. This is all very much appreciated. 👍
This is such a beautiful place. The sun shining through the trees and on the waterfall 🤩And all the beautiful colours of nature 😍
I do think a 360 vid would be cool either way even just once in a great while, I love being able to look around
One Love! 🌄

Ohhh waterfall sounds incredible! I'm SO looking forward to this hike. ♥
Edit after the premiere: okay I am STILL mesmerized by the color of the water.
Favorite moment was seeing the waterfall and that area but the scariest moment was that wooden beam. So glad you didn't go for it!
Haven’t seen it yet obviously. But I’m going to guess the waterfall is in the Gifu area. Maybe Gero or kokufu? Will check later.

Kondilila Falls is like that in Queensland... a very long walk. The flora and fauna on this clip are uniquely Japan. Beautiful!

Such a beautiful area, and a loud waterfall. Sorry to miss the premiere, silly work taking a few minutes more than planned.
Thank you for another amazing video! Not able to join all the live, but I really enjoy watching them through the next day!
Love the Serene Nature and pretty Shrine.
Stunning walk once again. The pathway round the waterfall was set up perfectly.
A beautiful forest walk with a surprise at the end. My favorite part is the water. I could sit and look at the light play in the water for a long time. What's this about leeches?? Are they in the forest and the water? Love from the Southern California desert 🏜 🎉❤
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing the beautiful countryside. Thank goodness for good cell signal!
Have fun on today's forest walk, Norm! I'll be sleeping during the live, but I'll be sure to watch the recording at work tonight.

Beautiful hidden waterfall, well worth the walk, I'd say!

Very short but lovely hike!
It's always a plus when the weather is on your side. Very nice lush greenery there. Not a huge waterfall but a pretty one nonetheless. :)
Wow another fine outdoors video. Enjoyed this very much a walk in the woods.
Beautiful, thank you.

Can’t wait!
Norm have you been to Yoro no Taki in Gifu? If not then consider doing a video there.
Good, I could use some nice forest views since I'm sick 😫
Wish I heard you say abot Gopro back before I bought one couple years back!
That shrine near the bridge is a shrine to the bridge troll.
Trying to convince Wifey’s bestie to go to Kyushu this July
I would assume leaches would be in more marshy areas, but ticks could be a concern.
Lol... I thought this was live... ehh still here for the adventure.
You've been doing these walks and exploring places a lot recently. Were going to be busy later on?
(Just wanted you to have some breaks)
I'm going to be a sleep when this stream go live 😭
