I have no problem with the riot shield, as he was using it for protection to capture objectives. Some people just camp and dont even play the objectives.

It shoots shot, not shells. Buckshot in this case. Shells are what hold the shot, powder, and primer

D/B shotties are supposedly balanced with their lack of crowd control, something almost every other weapon can do save bolt action snipers
It's basically a Battlefield range shotgun in COD. Which is a problem as all COD game modes barring ground war are in Battlefield "close range".

One time I was using the toxic riot shield (I know, I’m sorry, but I had a challenge to get backstab executions) and their was an enemy sentry absolutely destroying my team, but theirs another great thing you can do for ur teammates, I blocked the sentry and the only thing it was firing at was me, and it gave my teammate the chanced to move up. It’s such a good strategy it’s like their are no sentrys. This strategy basically destroys the use of the sentry, gives us a crap ton of score, and allows the rest of ur team to move up.
just reached level 40 last night and up to this point I've avoided using the m4, 725, and the mp5 completely because they're just too scummy
but your point about how it's guaranteed a nerf anyway makes me tempted to have the most fun with this demonic creation before it becomes effectively useless

I ran into a guy using the riot shield and the double barrel on like the third day and we couldn't kill this man unless we all ganged up on him since he would blast us if we were alone. It was one of the most frustrating cod experiences I've had. Such a powerful setup

I've basically stopped playing since the shotgun camping is so bad.
Barend Wessels I haven’t played multiplayer at all mainly because of camping and the footstep audio that is louder than the most powerful nuke ever tested
So in other word modern warfare is a shotgun and camp fest and they need to decrease footstep audio not to the point were dead silence is useless but just enough so that we can hear it but it’s not louder than the sun exploding I know I’m exaggerating
This dude sounds like he's a second away from yelling at me for taking a shet on noobs with this shotgun without flushing it.
If you're more than twice the points away from the target 200 (e.g. 118 is 82 away; 160 is 40 away) then you will need to triple cap at least a little bit. :/

I’ve been using the 725 since launch, I call it the corner sweeper. Great for getting rid of the cockroaches that like to call corners their homes for the game
This is my go to groundwar class for the one with the skyscrapers. Shotgun to clear the roof, claymores and sniper for when I stay there

As a shotgun lover IRL i hate when people get so upset at losing gun fights vs shotties. I can hit a clay pigeon from a decent range just like in the game lol. At the same time, its also unrealistic. some shotguns barely do any damage, yet the same gun is in movies like john wick and completely obliterates the bad guy

Sniper scope on a shotgun was a joke before but now it's a possibility.

Slugs on the 725 is legendary. I have a sawn off version with a choke and the slugs and you can one shot people from stupidly long distances.

I've been using the 725 since the first day. It's super good but if you want it to be totally godly at range then you need to put attachments on that make you slow af. Annoys me now that the cod community abuse it now and make me look like a noob. Stop abusing shit!!!

This shotgun reminds me of shotguns in Roblox Phantom Forces. Mate, put on flechette rounds on your Saiga 12 and you got an automatic sniper in your hands, headshotting 10 year olds from 12 kilometers away
Finally a realistic shotgun - games always make shotguns the weakest class because in real life they’re some of the most powerful and deadly weapons out there for close range fighting

I’m a trap and skeet shooter and those kind of shotguns do have that sort of range. However it also sucks shooting at someone 10 min before they see you and they turn around and curve stomp you to oblivion.

This gun is seriously on model 1886 levels of range. Marly wasn't even running the monolithic suppressor which increases the range even more
