In BO3, the XMC is blatantly broken but has anything been done about it? I don't think so. To make it worse since it's a supply drop gun in BO3 you'll probably never get it either. Nerfing creates gun variety.
I dislike the simplification of maps and reduction in content in terms of weapons, maps, streaks and perks... Also single player being not focused on after MW3 and it sucked so hard that in BO4 there is none. Except for infinite warfare which had a great single player campaign. Cod to me is a single player and multiplayer experience since CoD4, before that it was single player only.
I think advanced warfare and infinite warfare did a good job for the future setting, bo3 wasn't that suited for it imo. Bo3 storyline was meh once I understood it but they shoulda kept with the David mason storyline etc

Just recently noticed how WW2 mixed a bunch of different game types into the same playlist i.e. you can't individually pick domination, kill confirmed and hard point anymore. Makes it way more time consuming to get objectives done
I love the speed boost you gain from increased mobility in Infinite Warfare and it's beautiful hit detection. Not to mention, the weapon balance is absolutely on point and the map design whilst it's not the best, is designed around the mobility of the game
One thing I liked from the first few CODs was that it asked you if you wanted to join a match in progress. Idk why they got rid of that, cuz leaving a match and rejoining the same one 10 times gets to be quite annoying.
I have never played a COD multiplayer without having completed the story fully first. And COD BO4 is genuinely the first ever COD I have not and never will buy. I used to be a die hard COD fan but since BO3 it’s alllll gone to shite. Unless they get their shit together... of to battlefield V I go!!
Cedric O'shea I say since BO3 because even though Ghosts and AW we’re starting to go shit, they could have just been one offs and the next COD could have been back to normal... but it didn’t. And BO3 is where the futuristic shit got waaay too out of hand in my opinion hence I said since BO3
Chelsea King yeah I did kind of enjoy BO3’s fast paced multiplayer but it didn’t bring anything new to the table, zombies was basically just a fuck ton of remade maps as DLC and the campaign had obviously not had much thought out into it. I’d be happy if COD just remade COD 2 Big Red One or COD Roads To Victory. 2 games a very little amount of people have heard about and even less have played. They have the story, all then need is to remaster the graphics and add a multiplayer which is a simple port from any other recent COD game. They would make a killing and we would all be happy!!
1 major thing I hate. *Specialists* They constrict play style and force you to move specific ways to be the most effective. If they want to add "specialist" add a "special equipment" thing that removes the use of lethals but have a bigger benefit than just razor wire or a temporary riot shield.
Tell you what. Maybe they could have gotten in all four if there was better time management. Also, without a campaign a game has no character. Well, not until Shit Pops 3 introduced Specialists. See at least in IW, they were faceless, nameless soldiers and no unique characters.
Changes I hate (whether they're changes that removed features or added features): 1. Removal of campaign (though I lost interest with any sense of a Treyarch campaign after BO3). 2. Specialists (and the return of them in BO4). 3. Removal of Pro Perks 4. Less guns in a game at launch (just to add more guns later via microtransactions). 5. (Similar to point 4) having guns appear in a COD campaign but don't appear in the multiplayer until a later update *cough* WW2 *cough* 6. Pick 10 - sorry it was cool at first but I found more class variety in Ghosts' perk and Create-A-Class system and Pick 10 is just getting old. 7. Scorestreaks (I preferred MW3/Ghosts Pointstreaks) 8. The Pro scene affecting the public scene with their "this gun is too OP" crap. Simple, just ban it from league matches. 9. Supply Drops/Black Market. MWR had the best version (if you don't count IW's way of handling weapons) but once again Treyarch have opted for the worst possible system. 10. (As of BO4) a minimal number of perks. 11. Zombies is becoming oversaturated. 12. The removal of Spec Ops 13. The fact that the last 5 games have all gone up to level 55. I know that doesn't seem important but I missed the days when each COD game had a different level cap before Prestige - E.g. 50 (BO1), 55 (COD4 and BO2), 65 (WAW) 70 (MW2), 80 (MW3), 60 (Ghosts). Unfortunately due to the lack of content in Multiplayer at launch now, I think COD multiplayer will be forever stuck at 55 from now on
Pro perks were good because you got an auxiliary effect that wasn't powerful enough to be its own perk (though I feel Ninja is backwards, heartbeat sensor immunity should have been the pro effect). Also, are you me? Almost every point you're making I agree with exactly. I disagree with your Pick 10 point as I enjoy it as you can make your loadout exactly you want. I don't use equipment much, so I can omit lethals and tacs to get, say, a second green perk. For specialists, IW did it well as they were faceless, nameless soldiers like in older CoDs as opposed to characters you learned about and knew about, which is useless.
you really hit the nail on the head with the last one. i always play the entire campaign if not a very large majority of it before going online. ever since they stopped that all the new CoDs are set off in my head as bad even if the game looks good
Gonna throw in an unpopular opinion, I actually really liked IW's advanced movement. Hell, IW was actually a very good game, just came out at a bad time
Indeed. The reason I'm sad IW was my first CoD was not because it was a bad game; honestly it's one of the best I could have gotten, instead, it's because I missed what were called the good old days of CoD, forced game chat, duels on Rust, the entirety of Black Ops, and other things.
They should of brought in a reward system for loyal returning players. For example : Multiplayer- if you reached prestige master in BO 1, 2 & 3 then you received a unique fan favourite weapon from each game. You couldn't get these weapons from supply drops, you actually had to earn them. Zombies: for every easter egg you completed in previous games you started a game with a starting points bonus. 2 simple ideas that would thank returning players. Borderlands did it by giving the player unique weapons for each previous game they had played, so why can't COD?
No, fuck that first thing. Remember the XMC in BO3? Now make it even more exclusive. Now way in hell is that gonna fly. I remember in MW3 it gave you a prestige coin off the bat if you had prestiged in previous CoDs, one token per game. So the most experienced customers would start off with 4 tokens to spend on new classes, weapons, or other things.
Did everybody already forget how everyone thought mw2 remastered (an iw game) was gonna actually be made and published and packaged (without multiplayer btw) with bo4 (a treyarch game)? Anyone remember that?
I've been playing CoD since Cod2. Apart from what you said, I hate the way they replaced weapon perks (SOH for example) with numerous attachments. - 150 health - Two hit melee. - Grenades now being specialist rechargeable add-ons. and I know it's cosmetic, but I hate all of the skins for the characters, they look like neon weeabos.
Kills from killstreaks not counting towards your current streak was the best change. A nuke in MW2 was really just a 7 kill streak because of that mechanic.
The lack of campaign in BO4 really rustled my jimmies. When BO3 dropped, I spent the first 3 months on nothing but campaign. I refused to play anything until my campaign progress was 100%. Now all I have for a story are little clips of the specialist. (Not including zombies)
To be honest people that wanted codmf 2 remasters wanted multiplayer and campaign I'm the campaign guy that only plays campaign and a little bit of multiplayer
My most hated feature is that Infinity Ward killed Ghost and Soap in the MW trilogy. However, in MW4 they’re bringing back a character we thought was dead.
I was brought into COD with the scorestreaks but I can see how some people could be a bit angry that some noob could get no kills and still manage to get some form of streak in the air. Or on the opposite uav taking 450 score instead of 3 kills was a lot.
I quite enjoy AW's exo suits. I still play AW splitscreen with my brother and friends. I thought it was a breath of fresh air to have some new gameplay
Yep, I am one of those players who beat the campaign (or at least a mission or two) before even thinking about starting up a multiplayer match. For me it is ALWAYS about the single-player experience first...ALWAYS.
The lag compensation change in black ops 2. when the game launched it was fine but then they updated how they handle lag compensation and it totally messed it up for me. even if I emptied whole clips in to people theyd seem to kill me with a couple of shots and on the killcam it looked like i hadnt connected with any bullets. I just couldn't play it anymore after that.
i hate quick scoping, its so overrated. I like mw2 but thats the only thing I hate about it. I also don't like how quick paced the newer games are. Zombies in the newer games is just bad, originally in world at war, you and your team sit in a corner somewhere and keep shooting, thats how it's done not running around in circles and all of that. Battle royale just no.
Removing the robot voice forced game chat was a mistake but tbh since aw i have only ever bought and played on ww2 since and that let me down pretty bad aswell, i would say aroind b02 and mw3 cod peaked and since then just went to shit, don't know what the new modern warfare is like because i have just been put so badly off cod now i don't see myself getting another one
I liked the concept of the sat coms, it gets strong the more you have. When your team has 3 or 4 down it acts as an advanced uav which was a huge advantage when coordinating with a team. But other than that it was definitely stupid lol
I hate to admit.. I've had every CoD game. Even weathered the storm that was Advanced Movement. But upon the announcement that BO4 had no campaign? I don't think I've ever been so outraged!
I'm the campaign player lol. I've bought all cods for the campaign and I haven't bought bo4 for this reason. Same with advanced movement. I bought bo3 to try it and infinite warfare to get cod 4 remastered
My most hated change is supply drops and the change of microtransactions. Ghost was the last cosmetic only COD (with the exception of the 3 DLC weapons). AW was new for a lot of things but it was the worst Bc that’s where supply drops and “cosmetic only” microtransactions would appear
I enjoyed the addition of advanced movement for a couple of months but it just ended up being tedious and I quickly wanted that normal style CoD to the extent I ended up playing the classic game mode in AW than anything else.
The replacing of killstreaks with scorestreaks, microtransactions, removal of pro perks and knifing, the stim shot, battle royale, extra heath, the overly fast pace, and bunny hopping have destroyed CoD. We all just want a simple game for MW4 dammit and rememaster MW2 and MW3 already!
I couldn’t play cod after iw. I liked aw and I loved bo3 because it was somewhat innovative the campaign, but I couldn’t bear to watch the franchise become more hated. The most recent cod I got was remastered, and I ONLY play the campaign because of nostalgia.
I think the MTX in MWR was done pretty well unlike "Black Ops" 3. MWR for me definitely feels like a better, improved CoD4. Also, I like advanced movement and BotG the same, they're different and thus fun. I could play some Black Ops 2 today, jump on IW tomorrow, and have an equal amount of fun.
What pissed me off more than not having a campaign in bo4 was the campaign in bo3 not even relating to bo2's campaign... Why even call it a Black ops game at that point...

In BO3, the XMC is blatantly broken but has anything been done about it? I don't think so. To make it worse since it's a supply drop gun in BO3 you'll probably never get it either. Nerfing creates gun variety.
RIP DSR . 50
Love the channel Marley - great content as always... 👍🏻👍🏻
Modern warfare 2019s campaign is amazing
"No perks to counter the UAV"
Ghost perk: "am I a joke to you?"
I think advanced warfare and infinite warfare did a good job for the future setting, bo3 wasn't that suited for it imo. Bo3 storyline was meh once I understood it but they shoulda kept with the David mason storyline etc
Yo man, I love ya videos your totally awesome! I have kinda stopped watching your videos a bit purely because it's a lot of bo4 stuff and tbh, I'm one of them playa who love a campaign nd bo4 just took the fun out for me. But good seeing ya back man! Keep it up!! 🤘🤙
Specialists.
That’s all that needs to be stated.
Just recently noticed how WW2 mixed a bunch of different game types into the same playlist i.e. you can't individually pick domination, kill confirmed and hard point anymore. Makes it way more time consuming to get objectives done
#notificationsquad didn’t notice the smaller mini map in ww2
I love the speed boost you gain from increased mobility in Infinite Warfare and it's beautiful hit detection. Not to mention, the weapon balance is absolutely on point and the map design whilst it's not the best, is designed around the mobility of the game
Black ops 3 did very well for a game that has “advance movement”
One thing I liked from the first few CODs was that it asked you if you wanted to join a match in progress. Idk why they got rid of that, cuz leaving a match and rejoining the same one 10 times gets to be quite annoying.
I have never played a COD multiplayer without having completed the story fully first. And COD BO4 is genuinely the first ever COD I have not and never will buy. I used to be a die hard COD fan but since BO3 it’s alllll gone to shite. Unless they get their shit together... of to battlefield V I go!!
"since bo3" lol
Cedric O'shea b03 was an amazing cod. It was aw and ww2 that are shit around b03.
Taylor Doleman Did you enjoy b03? I personally think it’s one of the best cod games, far better than the 2 pathetic sledgehammer cods
I am subscribing for both the content and the accent! An astonishing accent to be heard honestly.
Can you make a video about call of duty protagonists? #NotificationSquad
1 major thing I hate. *Specialists*
They constrict play style and force you to move specific ways to be the most effective. If they want to add "specialist" add a "special equipment" thing that removes the use of lethals but have a bigger benefit than just razor wire or a temporary riot shield.
Campaign out was the better choice for treyarch as it bought a bunch of BR players and a PC community
Fk you
@@sinia556 no u
It'll be dead on PC in a few months probably
Go. Fuck. Yourself
Tell you what. Maybe they could have gotten in all four if there was better time management. Also, without a campaign a game has no character. Well, not until Shit Pops 3 introduced Specialists. See at least in IW, they were faceless, nameless soldiers and no unique characters.
Changes I hate (whether they're changes that removed features or added features):
1. Removal of campaign (though I lost interest with any sense of a Treyarch campaign after BO3).
2. Specialists (and the return of them in BO4).
3. Removal of Pro Perks
4. Less guns in a game at launch (just to add more guns later via microtransactions).
5. (Similar to point 4) having guns appear in a COD campaign but don't appear in the multiplayer until a later update *cough* WW2 *cough*
6. Pick 10 - sorry it was cool at first but I found more class variety in Ghosts' perk and Create-A-Class system and Pick 10 is just getting old.
7. Scorestreaks (I preferred MW3/Ghosts Pointstreaks)
12. The removal of Spec Ops

No ur not
you really hit the nail on the head with the last one. i always play the entire campaign if not a very large majority of it before going online. ever since they stopped that all the new CoDs are set off in my head as bad even if the game looks good
Gonna throw in an unpopular opinion, I actually really liked IW's advanced movement. Hell, IW was actually a very good game, just came out at a bad time
With you on this man. Went BK playing it a few days ago and it's super Smooth super fun.
IW was a fantastic game. It was like MW2 in space!
What a sweet campaign. Shame there won't be a second iw.
I know and I hated that all the youtubers and everybody else hated on it
For example :
Multiplayer- if you reached prestige master in BO 1, 2 & 3 then you received a unique fan favourite weapon from each game.
Anyone remember that?
meme boi There were rumors about the MW2 remaster being released earlier this year, and it was said to be campaign only.
@@jharju2352 my bad lemme edit that
The sat com makes sense for the theme of ghosts.
I've been playing CoD since Cod2.
Apart from what you said, I hate the way they replaced weapon perks (SOH for example) with numerous attachments.
- 150 health
- Two hit melee.
- Grenades now being specialist rechargeable add-ons.
and I know it's cosmetic, but I hate all of the skins for the characters, they look like neon weeabos.
Having to buy guns and attachments instead if earning them really pissed me off when that changed in BO1
Kills from killstreaks not counting towards your current streak was the best change. A nuke in MW2 was really just a 7 kill streak because of that mechanic.
Change of quick scoping from mw2 to black ops was crazy controversial. People were seriously pissed about that
The lack of campaign in BO4 really rustled my jimmies. When BO3 dropped, I spent the first 3 months on nothing but campaign. I refused to play anything until my campaign progress was 100%. Now all I have for a story are little clips of the specialist. (Not including zombies)
I cant believe u wasted time on bo3 campaign
Awesome vid man
Marley i think a video on challenges and contracts would be good. Love your videos, keep up the good work. #changificationsquad
To be honest people that wanted codmf 2 remasters wanted multiplayer and campaign I'm the campaign guy that only plays campaign and a little bit of multiplayer
Lovely work from you, Marley
My most hated feature is that Infinity Ward killed Ghost and Soap in the MW trilogy. However, in MW4 they’re bringing back a character we thought was dead.
I was brought into COD with the scorestreaks but I can see how some people could be a bit angry that some noob could get no kills and still manage to get some form of streak in the air. Or on the opposite uav taking 450 score instead of 3 kills was a lot.
Hey marly been watching your videos for ages keep up the good work. Love your vids and you make me chuckle on a bad gloomy day :)
One thing that annoyed me was in ghosts when you didn’t have to reach a certain level to unlock a gun
That was kinda nice tho, especially if you're not the type that plays allot or has the time to play all day to unlock the good weapons.
Joshua Ramirez but then you weren’t rewarded for playing the game there was like no goal to get to apart from prestiging
I quite enjoy AW's exo suits. I still play AW splitscreen with my brother and friends. I thought it was a breath of fresh air to have some new gameplay
I'm kinda glad they went back to running an gunning im BO4. Reminds me of a more updated version of BO2. Despite no campaign
Removing tanks from Hardcore in CoD: WaW activated my almonds.
Yep, I am one of those players who beat the campaign (or at least a mission or two) before even thinking about starting up a multiplayer match. For me it is ALWAYS about the single-player experience first...ALWAYS.
The lag compensation change in black ops 2. when the game launched it
was fine but then they updated how they handle lag compensation and it
totally messed it up for me. even if I emptied whole clips in to people
theyd seem to kill me with a couple of shots and on the killcam it
looked like i hadnt connected with any bullets. I just couldn't play it
anymore after that.
i hate quick scoping, its so overrated.
The removal of co-op campaign (treyarch) after the G.O.A.T World at War, and then re-releasing it for Black ops 3 which was shite.
I hate to admit.. I've had every CoD game. Even weathered the storm that was Advanced Movement. But upon the announcement that BO4 had no campaign? I don't think I've ever been so outraged!
My biggest hatred of COD is the new health system for BO4
I'm the campaign player lol. I've bought all cods for the campaign and I haven't bought bo4 for this reason. Same with advanced movement. I bought bo3 to try it and infinite warfare to get cod 4 remastered
My most hated change is supply drops and the change of microtransactions. Ghost was the last cosmetic only COD (with the exception of the 3 DLC weapons). AW was new for a lot of things but it was the worst Bc that’s where supply drops and “cosmetic only” microtransactions would appear
It’s a tradition to complete the campaign first it introduces you to the new guns and game mechanics
Love it mate love watching you alwast make my night
Going from kill streaks to score streaks nearly gave me a brain aneurysm
Point streaks are the truth.
The 150 health in blops 4 really pisses me off, I play nothing but hc game modes now
I couldn’t play cod after iw. I liked aw and I loved bo3 because it was somewhat innovative the campaign, but I couldn’t bear to watch the franchise become more hated. The most recent cod I got was remastered, and I ONLY play the campaign because of nostalgia.
Such a good TH-camr, produces quality videos every upload #notificationsquad
I have said it before I will say it again dolphin dive was better than the slide
Kills from scorestreaks should always count towards your next scorestreak. They definitely need to go back to it being that way.
In the first one why you ignore bo3??? It was the best futuristic game in the franchise
Advanced movement is so much more versatile and adaptive than boots on the ground with 3 lane
Everyone used to complain about cod games being the same then when they change things people hate it
The mini map system from modern warfare 2019
Ghost used the sat com to try add teamwork to it to make it stronger so yes it was a idea in practice but in theory it could have been good
What pissed me off more than not having a campaign in bo4 was the campaign in bo3 not even relating to bo2's campaign... Why even call it a Black ops game at that point...
Do a video on what each COD game did right and wrong!
