@ 1:34 Putney Bridge. Just to the left on that map under the International Brigade Memorial on the river banks and next door at All Saints Fulham, scenes from The Omen (starring Gregory Peck and Lee Remmick) were filmed (1970’s horror movie). PS I’ve stayed at the Premier Inn at Fulham Bridge (dated but big decent rooms) and walked by that arch and those shops (I think there’s a coffee shop next door to then dry cleaners I’ve used) to the station every day. Great video. And brought back memories of the area.
Brilliant! Strange how some of the locations are almost identical now to how they were then, yet some have changed beyond recognition. There is no in between! I loved the '70s, They've taken my world away from me!!
Just brilliant! The stills alone would make this enjoyable viewing, but your professional production is the cherry on the cake. Interesting to note your earlier observation that the less salubrious locations change most rapidly. Thank you.
Currently rewatching (again!) all of the episodes - this time focusing more on what’s going on in the background. Great to stumble across this channel and learn about the filming locations. Superb effort gone into this - cheers! 👍
Looking forward to the next video. I'm impressed by the work you put in. Don't be shy, you need to start pushing the old like/share etc, your channel deserves to go places!
This latest offering is the BEST 'Format' ... Glad you've Fine Tuned everything, and the Then & Now Stills etc are superb .. I know myself how much work goes into all this, AMAZING Job .. and the Background Music is awesome also !
Thanks, glad you like it! I’ll be doing one of these alongside every “main” video,l so hopefully whichever format people prefer (and there are plenty in both “camps”, it seems) there’ll be something to keep them happy!
I’ve often wondered when the sweeney locations filmed wether it be old warehouses or open areas in and around London, are they housing estates now. The price of land and house prices in London as we know are eye watering but it’s good to see how you have shown the location then and now, excellent really excellent.
Nice one boss. Top production effort. Well done. The question I can never figure out is - what was a Consul, as opposed to a Granada? Still a mystery 50 years on.
Another superb video, you’ve really captured the feel of The Sweeney in all your videos. The only suggestion I can think of is the St Elmo Fish Bar from In From The Cold, but I bet that’s already on your list.
Nostalgia is a seductive mistress :) I'll have to say 'then'; even if there may be certain things about "the world today" that are definite improvements.
You may have seen from my 'update' video + other comments - the full videos with commentary aren't going anywhere, there'll be a new one of those along soon. These are just 'bonus material' as some people like to pause and compare still frames.
Love all your Sweeney memories... 👍

Good work .. Keep it up !
Went to school around there and saw the filming many times ..
nice little companion vid, using the original backing music for each scene is the icing on the cake
Glad you liked it!
Great video - as others have said, such skillful editing and use of accompanying music makes it a delight to watch.
I like the accompaniment - excellent work
Thanks!
Brilliant, well done. Love seeing these.

@@Sweenealogy *This* 'Format' to me, is Different Class ! ..... 5th Floor would be proud
Excellent then and now captures more please.
Thanks! There's a bunch of other videos on the channel if you haven't already seen them, and more on the way :)
Love the work....
Another great video which brings back a lot of happy childhood memories as the Sweeney was my favourite TV show as a kid.

Thank you! 😊
The brilliant Sweeney! Best ever British cop show❤ This is fantastic watch and so very interesting! Well made and excellent viewing 😊
Nice one boss. Top production effort. Well done.
The question I can never figure out is - what was a Consul, as opposed to a Granada? Still a mystery 50 years on.
TBH I had no real idea either - had to look it up on Wikipedia! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Consul
Happy days.Forgotten my misery.Great stuff 👍🫶🇬🇧
Great video again.Would be great to have a longer theme tune if possible. Looking forward to the next one. Many thanks. ❤👍
Very good comparisons of then and now you must put a lot of time and effort into this. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
You packed in some stuff there, thanks for it, fascinating
Thanks, glad you liked it 😊

It certainly is 😊 Planning to stop for some cod and chips when I eventually get round to filming there!
@@Sweenealogy am I right in thinking it’s not too far away from Loftus Road? I’m thinking of going there for lunch if we play there on a Saturday.
@@BS15REDI'd guess it at around a 20 minute walk between the two, so definitely sounds doable!
@@Sweenealogy thanks matey, I will definitely be paying it a visit.
Love your channel, love the Sweeney
Great work! 'Now and then' works really well in this format 👍
Glad you like it!
Brilliant. Thanks for sharing this.
Ace as always, thank you.
Grade A* stuff. So very interesting to see the changes. Well done.
Thanks!
Fabulous thank you!!!!❤
Another top notch production. Waiting for "Ringer"...what's the kosher SP on that?
I did some Ringer locations on my blog. Will definitely get back and film them eventually, tho hard to say exactly when that’ll be
Thanks for putting the effort in producing these videos. Which do you prefer, then or now?
Nostalgia is a seductive mistress :) I'll have to say 'then'; even if there may be certain things about "the world today" that are definite improvements.
Fantastic, thanks!
Good stuff 👍
Brilliant 👍
Thanks!
I think I prefer these with your commentary. Don't be shy :)

Excellent work 👍👍 thank you.
It still looks like a holiday camp for thieves & weirdos though! 😂
Haha! Yep 😂
Just been going through the series - brilliant work any more coming?
Thanks! Yes, definitely - I've been pretty busy over the summer and not had much spare time, but working on the next video now.
"Inspector Regal"!
Love it ❤
Thanks!
Schlaaaaaaaaags everywhere 😂
Shat iiiiitt!
Let’s just sum it up as the place has been f*(king destroyed
I reckon you've gone completely diddlo.
🤣 I reckon that ship sailed ages ago...
Great as usual but miss your excellent and witty narration. 😊
Hah, never thought I'd hear my commentary described like that! Thanks - more rabbit coming in the next 'full' video for sure.
