Aces of Aces 2 - Full dogfight July 2024

Lots of progress to show! Options menu, full art for the Mosquito's cockpit interior and all the gauges working. The map now has autogen buildings and trees, as well as clouds! This mission shows a full dogfight with multiple AIs, and I get into some trouble with engine fires and an emergency landing at the end.
Had to mute the song in the menus and the debrief animation due to TH-cam copyright shenanigans. There is also some blue discoloration in some of the scenes courtesy of OBS which I used to capture the video.

Looks really good! Can't wait to try this out when it's finished! Pity about the menu music being muted for the video, but needs must.
Loving the look of the sim as a whole though, the cinematic angles and the distinctly retro styling... really reminds me of sims like European Air War and IL-2 1946.

I have support for any DirectInput visible controller, so I think this will work yes - I will need to get an Xbox controller and test it! I did confirm it works with a Yawman Arrow, but that is a pure HID device, so not really a controller in that sense of the word.
