Aren't they (the dispatcher or police station or 911 headquarter) supposed to have a caller ID including the address to easily find out where the caller from ?
I read somewhere that if you call from a cellphone then they have a harder time finding your location because it pops up as something else. The call will also give off a signal at the nearest radio tower so it gives them an idea of where you’re at. If you call from a landline however it gives them your location.
Cell phones really hinder things. People sometimes use old turned off phones or ones with canceled plans that can only call 911. I was dispatched (this was around the year 2000) to a man having a seizure. The child, I think 6 years old called 911 on a old outdated not activated phone. It was only able to call 911. The child gave the street number, but did not know the street name or city. They also were on a country road so going outside in the middle of nowhere did not help. Because of this we had 5 small towns and a big county with lost of farm land we could not find them. At some point the phone died. Weeks later the name who had the seizure came to my station and yelled at me, called me names for not helping and leaving his child alone with him having a seizure. Nothing I can do but I will never forget.
“Tell then please hurry, omg” This breaks my heart. Just the thought of this happening to someone so young. There life is forever changed. God bless you kimberly 🙏

I just don’t understand how someone could possibly get off to sexually forcing someone. Like how do you get off to someone crying, screaming, begging you to stop. Sick and twisted minds. Bless this poor girl..
the reason why you dont get it bc youre not a rapist, only terrible disgusting people think like that and thats why you couldnt possibly think that way, its a good thing!
They are sick in the head. It's not necessarily about the sex. It's about the power. That's why even rich people sometimes commit acts like this even though they can easily afford to pay for sex. It's about feeling powerful. These people are demented and need to be kept away from society. The fact we can't truly understand them and how they think is a good thing. That means we're not sick and twisted like them.

this happened 7 days before i was born. as a victim of sexual trauma, this hit too deep. no one deserves to go through this. i feel whoever experienced this as well.
Attempted rape, intended sexual assault and attempted murder should all carry the death sentence. Just because the victim lived doesn’t mean that victim’s life will ever be the same. It won’t. It’s horrific & PTSD plus extreme depression are unbearable. Friends play Monday morning quarterback saying “You should have done x”, only further damages the victim. Many people commit suicide because the level of violation and never feeling safe again diminishes their ability to feel happy.

Edwina Lindeman they might have been sleeping in different rooms like a regular apartment. If the rapist was only talking to her in whispers the roommate might have not heard him until he was leaving. Maybe, just throwing ideas out there.
The roommate was sleeping, she went into her room as her left when she started asking for the address
Bellybutton Show you don’t need to see shit, no one cares if you “believe it”
@ I don't know how you listened to this and can still spout shit like "fake rape culture". Fuck you. When women say "men" they don't mean all men, they mean YOU.
@ fear can make u unable to speak let alone scream.
an example of a good dispatcher
nice and calm, keeps asking for information in good tone
disgusting how anyone could possibly do this to someone
Thats why i have pep pep spray darlin...
For fucking once, the dispatcher was trying. And it made me cry. The whole thing.
Bryant Moop what do you "for once" their are other dispatchers like her doing their job but they don't get on the news for it only the morons who don't know how. I swear the ignorance in this world has skyrocketed
@@noelleb7391 will you chill tf out, its true a lot disbatchers will get upset with you for not being loud enough, for not thinking clearly, etc etc. its not as common as you think to hear, let alone have a empathtric and genuine dispatcher so you can calm down buddy
I want to be a cop for this on god bro those people need to go to jail and rape women I’m sorry I’m so sorry that you have to experience this...
Brad Niemeyer That’s extremely true, but more men are raped in jail by other men more than women. Rape is not excusable in any condition. Thank you for bringing a wider view to this comment section.
We Will Rise I’m guessing g he meant that the ones who rape women

I am sure you did not mean to say, "those people need to go to jail and rape women,"

I want to be a cop for this one God bro; those people need to go to jail that rape women. I’m sorry I’m so sorry that you have to experience this.
I know how she feels because I was raped too. I had to go to counseling for a long time. I had nightmares and wanted to hurt myself. Also since he didn't use a condom and my period was late I had to take a pregnancy test. I couldn't stand to be touched and I was afraid of guys.
Im so sorry for that. I hope you're doing alot better.
I hope you're doing better
I spent my birthday taking pregnancy tests while my family was upstairs celebrating. I totally feel you. 😔 the one time I was truly overjoyed to "fail" a test though! No babies. 👍🏼 hope you're doing better. 💙
He was despicable for hurting you that way. I am so sorry for your pain and fear. I hope you are getting counseling, so important.
Oh darling, I can't possibly understand how it feels going through what happened to u, but I know for a fact that you're so brave cos u just shared! Ure amazing. I pray to God ure better today:)
Omg, how many of us were freaking out about the wrong address?! The poor operater guessed every combo but the right one!
I know this girls pain ...
As do I. Only difference is I never reported. Not even my parents know.

When she said “I was raped” I felt that in my heart.
I still remember the time I was raped and it’s only to me till now to speak out she is very strong and brave I’m sorry you had to go through this
This gave me chills...
She was so smart to relay the information she could remember about him to the dispatcher. I hope she's doing okay today
this girl is a hero 100% respect
May DR RORPOPOR HERBAL on TH-cam leave long to fulfilled GOD promises in this life, your herbal supplement to my HERPES worked like a magic, thank you for giving me completely healing may your days be long sir, ✨✨✨✨✨✨
My God.... I've been through it before, and Everytime I hear it happened to another person my heart just break's. I really hope that Kim is doing better, I know it's not easy at all. But I'm so proud [?] Of you for calling 911 as soon as it happened, I'm sending loads of hugs. And be strong. And I'm sorry u went through this hell.
I was raped in the bathroom of my school by 4 older boys, I couldn't speak about it for 4 years. She's so brave, I wish I had her strength and called the police or told someone right away. I wish this girl the best, she is so strong❤
@J Fl Thank you so much, you don't know how much this means to me. I wish the best for you. There are good people in the world, and you're one of them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤
I am so sorry this happened to you. Thank you for being so strong and I genuinely hope you are happy and safe and that those who did this you are in a terrible place

If y’all didn’t know, she is married to the head DA that handled the Chris Watts case 😩😬😶
Ciara The caller or dispatcher?
jdrose1000 Caller.
Which one
Watts was convicted of 5 first degree murders but he killed 3 not 5 and he got 5 life sentences. If he would have been a woman he would have prob got 5 years
Kimberly is married to the DA who was on the Chris Watts case but he was also the prosecutor on her rape case.
Aren't they (the dispatcher or police station or 911 headquarter) supposed to have a caller ID including the address to easily find out where the caller from ?
The cops could still easily find their adress... You really think turning of Location will hide you from the cops lmao
During a live 911 call?
Yes, not having Location enabled on your phone will do that.
I think you're confusing local law enforcement with the NSA lmao
I read somewhere that if you call from a cellphone then they have a harder time finding your location because it pops up as something else. The call will also give off a signal at the nearest radio tower so it gives them an idea of where you’re at. If you call from a landline however it gives them your location.
Sem Mente this was in 2006
Cell phones really hinder things.
This made my heart sink down to my stomach, I feel horrible for this young girl.
Finally!!! A dispatcher that actually isn’t a jerk!!!!! And actually has CONCERN in her voice
From the bottom of my heart, *thank you for your bravery Kimberly*
(Speaking for other victims who agree with me) I wish we could all be like you! 😢😔🙏
I wish the same thing Ashley. I wasn't that brave. I'm glad she was.
Thank you for the trigger warning, as I am a rape survivor myself. The 911 operator did an amazing job!
@LL Good question. I was raped in my own home and got pregnant. My stepdad was my rapist. There is nothing funny about it.
@@russellfitzgerald2957 You are a sick individual.
I wish you all the luck in this world for your life! God bless you.
“Tell then please hurry, omg”
This breaks my heart. Just the thought of this happening to someone so young. There life is forever changed.
God bless you kimberly 🙏
Young? Shes all grown up and doesn't need parent's
Im a Boy
But men who do this to a woman are absolutely disgusting. I feel pain just listening to the womans sad voice.
May her offender rot on the gates of hell
(im a girl)
As a sexual assault survivor several times over... The pain and sadness in her voice while she's crying... Oh god, poor baby. I just want to hug her and tell her life will be okay.
She's courageous enough to call emergency though. May she find peace in her soul.
I'm really proud of this girl for speaking up and going to the authorities right away. Most victims are too scared to.
I couldn't be a dispatcher. Having to listen to that and keep calm and not react... I just couldn't do that everyday
Whenever i think of Sexual abuse of any kind ,my head starts to spin from the amount of rage and disgust I have towards it. GOD have mercy on good people and protect them😞
I hope she’s doing okay now. She’s really strong for going through this, I wouldn’t have called 911 that’s for sure. I’ll keep her in my prayers
she is doing wonderful!! i came across her tiktok and she actually married the district attorney who was in charge of her case who she calls her hero 🥺🥺
My heart has sunk, I can't imagine the pain she was feeling.
Rape should be the death sentence and that shouldent be up for discussion !!! Awful
I’ve heard so many 911 calls, but this one hits me really hard. My heart is trembling. Poor woman..
The fact she had so many details about how he looked shows that for a long time she was having to remember that. So strong
Respect for the dispatcher for being so friendly, patient and calm and not being rude
i feel so sad :( girl you are so brave and strong ❤️
She can't even talk it's heartbreaking
I was raped 15 times by my partner, I was too scared to tell anyone but on the 15th time I called the police, hes due to be sentenced this month
omg im so sorry about that. thats honestly disgusting, no body should have to go through that. im glad you were able to tell them.
15 times?!? I'm so sorry that happened 😟
Why was he your partner ?
One of her roommates was gone, and the other was sleeping on another side of the apartment. Kim feared he would go after her too.
I read your story Kim!! You're so strong!! I just wanna give you a big hug
I can’t even imagine being a 911 operator, it must be so hard to listen to this
"No, he knows my roommate." THIS. THIS is why you always ask your fucking roommates if you're comfortable having people over. As a woman I almost had to kick out the girl who would bring home random drunk men (boyfriend's friends) every single night.
people used to meet their future husbands that way. Now they are meeting strangers on line
Oh my goodness I hope you’re doing okay baby girl
The operator did a great job, compassionate and caring. Rape must be a death penalty. When she said "I was raped" brought tears to my eyes.
Oh honey...my heart breaks hearing the fear and pain in your voice! I pray you are well today!
i been rape 2 times i know she feels. i feel bad for that girl :(
Rosanna Miranda .l know what you talking about, l was raped too!!. God bless her ..she needs our prayers.
Aww I'm sorry ):
So sorry to hear that!! 🇮🇪
Bro what! how many y'all been raped? Are the rapists facing prison time or what?
I wanna be a murderer now.
Rosanna Miranda
I got the chills when she said “I got raped”
im so glad she didn’t give up on her when she couldn’t hear properly, this is so sad but im so glad she had such a good operator
The dispatcher was truly understanding and was patient
When she said I was rapped I burst into tears
so gut-wrenching to listen to. thank you for sharing your story and advocating for those who can't.
People ask me why I don't wanna share appartment with strangers... Because they might bring some stranger at night and stuff like this could happen.
My heart hurts hearing this. You’re so strong. I hope you’re doing okay despite everything that’s happened
this happened 7 days before i was born. as a victim of sexual trauma, this hit too deep. no one deserves to go through this. i feel whoever experienced this as well.
Omg that poor baby girl my heart is breaking :(
This broke my heart. This was in my recommends.
i’m very proud of her for showing courage and calling for help. I’m glad she is taking a stand for what is right
Attempted rape, intended sexual assault and attempted murder should all carry the death sentence.
My heart broke!!!! I hope she ended up ok!!!
Good job with the description love. You did wonderfully.
*Y'know kids, sometimes murder is okay.*
your profile pic made this comment even better😂
why don't they just text ads friend and then the friend or family can call the police easily
rihana miah You don’t think about that when unexpected situations like that happens. Like she said, she was raped . Its not easy to just go and tell somebody about that. She did good calling the police .
rihana miah maybe it wasn't a smartphone?
rihana miah 911 is the easy number to call than texting
rihana miah lmfao and what if the family member or friend misses their text? are you fucking dumb?
rihana miah it could take some time before they receive the text. calling 911 would get the police there much faster so that they have a higher chance of catching the suspect
