GREAT VIDEO. I LOVE TO WATCH YOU DOING THIS KIND OF JOBS IN MICRAS. SO HELPFULL AND VERY NICE THAT YOU ARE SHOWING PARTS WITH NUMBERS. IT MAKES OUR JOBS MUCH EASIER.
I have the Micra 1.2 2006 and I will have to change the front down pipe because discovered 2 holes by oxygene sensor. At the moment i have used gungum as temp fix but to be honest dont know how long it will last. And those bolts holding down pipe with cat in my micra are in much worts condition so i sure both will snap and will have to drill them to remove.
THANK YOU ONE MORE TIME AND ALL THE BEST .

Really useful video. Do you have a part number for the bolts that secure the down pipe to the centre pipe, or did you just reuse the original bolts?

Hello Max, thanks this is a really useful video. I have a nissan micra 2008 k12 and have been trying to find part numbers for the bolt and spring for the downpipe into the cat.converter. on euro car parts cant find it and also says won't fit my vehicle. Any advise on these 2 parts, euro car parts dont seem to be selling them.

I have micra k12 2004 automatic transmission 95.000 mil this problem my car Performance has dropped a lot and the car accelerates very slowly after 50 mph. There is no problem with stalling or idling. Only the performance of the vehicle is extremely low. I cleaned and calibrated the throttle body. I changed the air filter. I checked the camshaft position sensor. I cleaned the air flow sensor. I applied Würth injector cleaner and drove about 300 km, but I could not solve the problem. I opened the catalytic converter and checked if it was clogged, and there is no problem. Do you have any ideas what could be the problem?

Finally, there is no fault code on the OBD device in the vehicle.

@@maxautouk tbh i think its purely to make you use a dealer based mechanic . And an earth strap on other side ? Wtf ...ive never seen in 30 yrs of having cars .an earthed exhaust pipe ....weird ideas ...look at the ellaborate drain set up on the number plate light unit...another gold medal there too i think.. 🤔
