This is more than likely a gm 4.1 litre 250 Chevy L6 and if I remember correctly a easy way to tell the motor mounts are staggered from each other and the other straight 6 is a 4.8 litre gm 292 Chevy L6 and the motor mounts are straight across from each other and I believe one of the two of those motors has other bolt holes you can move the motor mount on one side forward or back towards the firewall but I don't remember which but I used to have a 74 chevy c10 Chevy custom deluxe with odd options for the custom deluxe ac compressor equipment 250L6 and I put mine in a rare option truck itself a 74 chevy Cheyenne super c10 long bed 2wd i had in highschool..
Thanks Richard that's a big help, we're currently hunting down the driveline parts. We haven't been back out but hopefully soon, thanks again for the info and the watch.
Two piece driveshaft and you'll probably have get a carrier bearing because the used driveshaft is probably going to need u joints and the carrier bearing replaced when you guys pick up a used driveshaft.
It's a good candidate for fixing
