  • It’s a fact that classic Chevy pickups are catching a lot of attention these days. Not only do these trucks look good, but they have multiple reasons why they are so popular. This would include the fact they can with solid and even powerful engines. Also, the chassis were setup better and can be easily modified for better results.
On top of that there are many of them out there and they can be built on more of a budget when compared to muscle cars of the same era. There’s also a number of aftermarket products to help you make a show winning ride out of these old trucks. Watch along as we further explain why these trucks are on the rise!

For me these trucks just work. I hauled over 25,000 lbs of topsoil past two weeks in my 1983 long bed and the bed height is absolutely perfect for unloading anything. 40 year old 305 engine and 3 speed transmission still working fine, as is the original AM/FM radio/cassette player lol. Paid $1100 about 8 years ago hoping the truck would last a single summer of home remodeling. Going to keep her and give her some repairs and upgrades.

Great video! I fixed all the electrical on my 78 C10. Just had all the braking system replaced as well. Calipers, rotors, discs, drums, shoes, and lines. This week it’s going in to get a frame support welded by the steering box. Hopefully next month I’ll be able to get all the suspension replaced and next on the list it’s getting the engine replaced with a 350. Money dictates how fast the project goes, but It is exciting getting it up to speed. I’m hoping that by the end of the year it’ll get a paint job. Still thinking what color. 🤙🏻

C10s are awesome, was looking at buying a ford bronco 84/86 model then the c10 some how made it into the search, have put the 84/86 lower on my list, C10s are super cool, we don't see them here in Australia.
Will be seeing some when businesses get started and will roll on some charity cruises etc maybe a car show or two!
Also like the C20s have a descent amount of research to do for my daily driver and a few others for uses in other areas, maybe a few employees might be cruising somewhere in one one day !
Dreams can come true, set goals !! start with a few small ones like sourcing parts of the car or a whole car if you want to just get it done!
See it as a finished, ready to drive complete car in your mind, so you know what you gotta do!

I wanted one in the '90s and I own one now. I rock. I can fix it myself. It doesn't have any stupid computers. Some really simple mechanical work and the body is almost perfect. C-10's aren't popular, C-10, K-10, C-20, K-20, C-30 and the K-30 are popular, because there are so many still out there still running, the interchangeability on them make them simple to fix or modify, you can swap your 230 I6 out for a 454 big block V8 in a weekend. Plus, pick a year, it just looks so much better than an alternative manufacturer

They weren't popular when the original C10 pick up came out they were designed basically work truck like Ford and dodge but when gas prices were having serious economy problem in the 70s big car manufacturers stop making them for a while and focus on compact models when China Japan were made compact models more efficient and economy profit by the Early 80s most car manufacturers went back to make truck it took movie like Mr majestic in early 70s and like the Fall guy to inspire men again so most of the 60 and 70 models C10 were in junkyard or collect rust in someone barn or in a empty cornfield in America and Canada some people like hot wheels and match box and truck magazine start drawing customized Ford Chevy and dodge even America motor company Studebaker pick up truck and international harvester even Hispanic was the first to customize low rider truck and eventually went as far the first monster truck by bill Campbell or whatever he last name was back in 1975 and 1976 and back in the 70 even pick up truck with camper on it or shell on the back came to be the bronco blazer dodge version I think was wagoner something else basically all truck came from the floor mats old wagon in the 1800 and 1900 horse and buggy start design pick up truck really truck be around for 100; years so C10; now trying to make a comeback but with electric cars they been around to and telsa wasn't first invented the electric cars it was Honda earlier development 1974 hit America soil 1976 and again early 80s before Tesla you might see them around today anyway c 10 are getting recognized again because people just remember them jus a truck made for to work same goes for their little bro the el Camino and the rancho made for women who wants to drive trucks but easy way to go to the supermarket and don't have to climb up in the back lol😂😂😂😂😂😂
