As I sit here, it is March 30th 2024 and I'm waiting on the delivery of my first 74 squarebody! The interior is no where near as nice as the one on yours, but I think I can keep up with how rare yours is,...because mine is a 74 Suburban K20 4x4. Original Yubba gold and white, runs, has a title, and sitting at 71,000 miles. We're from Boise fellas, and it felt real nice to find someone that is share my excitement tonight! I'm going full stock except the seats, and those will get covered in a mix of brown leather and a Pendelton indian blanket. Yes, they're bench seats. Congrats on the find,...you're right, it's as rare as a good women. Have fun!
Hey that's a sweet original truck. My Dad owns a 73 Cheyenne Super 10 he's had since 1976 those truck like that are hard to find. Keep saving them and putting them back on the road. I enjoyed your episode alot. Thanks for posting and I will definitely subscribe to your channel
hay man I have the same exact truck I got it about 2 years ago and I been working on it now I'm trying to replace all the grounds in the original locations if this truck has all the original grounds would you mind reaching out for a helping hand?
My highschool truck was a 1974 Chevy C10 Cheyenne super longbed mine didn't have the woodgrain middle trim it was carmine red and frost gloss white center stripe had all the woodgrain trim interior including the woodgrain trim at the bottom of center of the steering wheel i like a idiot sold the factory pitted heavily Cheyenne super 10 fender emblems off the truck and 3 years later i found a different set which was about as pitted as the factory emblems i had lol, mine was a factory 454 and manual 3spd column shift steering column truck,, that was modified had a 283 when I got it my uncle was pulling the motor,i put a problematic sbc 71 Chevy 307 2bbl I pulled it back out and put a new 4 row heavy duty core radiator, got a 74 Chevy 250 inline 6 given to me and I got a a junkyard non operating th 350 long tailshaft transmission and fixed the valve body and new torque converter and made it pull but no 3rd gear needed a front pump in the transmission, and the the factory grille had a outer chrome trim ring, and the the factory 12 bolt rear was 4.56 open diff, the hubcaps on yours was offering on trucks from 70-74 i have even seen a few 75 trucks with them but don't think they were factory on them, mostly see them hubcaps on 72 Chevy trucks
Any day picking the barn find or any project car is a good day boys 😊

I got a 74 gmc long bed, doing the ol ls swap from a 2013 gmc 6.0 AFM deleted with a BTR stage 4 cam long tube headers
Leave it the way it is. Looks nice the way it is.
I've always liked the longbed trucks never cared for a shortbed!! I had a 78 long bed c10 custom deluxe loved that truck!!💗
We like both, just kind of partial to short beds.
Them dashboards all cracked!!

Restore it all original long bed
We might haven’t decided yet.
Thanks guys another great episode, keep them coming!!
Thanks for watching
Why not leave it a long bed?\
Save it! 74 means no catalytic converter, no smog checks, you can modify it as much as you like and can disable that damn EGR valve!
I'm a Squarebody guy myself. New Sub😎👊 ill share your video in my community.
Thanks, we really appreciate it!
Great find.
This is pretty loaded. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and automatic transmission were all options, and were far from universal.

What option code are those wheels?
Any updates on this build? I’m wanting to convert my long bed into a short bed also!
Porter built has a kit you use to cut frame down and put it back as a short bed
@@MasonCumpton1 Thanks!
I have a 74 cheyenne super 10 7,000 original miles same color scheme

Crazy to hear them use the words too rough as a description for this truck
How much for the bed?
Long beds are just work trucks imp
And the hood on a 74 won't try to fold on you.
How much
your definition of rough and my definition are a little different....that's cherry where I'm from!
Leave it along, I would subsribe if yall would work on a 70 Chevelle.
Yall talk way too much...
