Hello Kristin- from Long Island New York. As we are in the middle of a time of challenge, as a DV survivor and MS warrior quarantine is not unfamiliar. Crochet and my faith saved my life. At 57, emotionally healthy, I’ve taken the plunge to finger weight yarn! I love shawls and you’re such a fantastic teacher, I began this shawl. Confession I put it down a few times. I’m 5’9” and have my dads big worker hands lol so finger weight was frustrating me. I got to,umm about row 16 and looked at my stitches and how they started to change row by row, just as the growth of my mind and spirit have made, I’m IN LOVE with this yarn and your pattern!!! And my beautiful scarf!!! Now I intend to treat myself to your Beautiful Be So Fine yarn !!! Woohoo!!! Thank you is not enough. You’re changing lives in more ways then you know. You are a blessing and an inspiration. My heartfelt gratitude Miss Kristin. Much love, stay safe and healthy. 🙏♥️🐾🐾🐾🐕
Thanks for the awesome shawl tutorial. I'm going to make this and gift it to my school HM. I'm happy, I'm going to meet her after 26 years with this beautiful shawl ❤️
Good morning Kristin!! Not only do I love this pattern, the YARN is gorgeous as well. Thanks for sharing. I will be making this as one of my next projects. Have a blessed day!!
Very pretty Kristin! I especially love treble crochet. I find it the most relaxing stitch to crochet. And the edging is beautiful! Thanks for another great tutorial!
Do you mean total or per color? It is one ball each of two colors of Be So Sporty Yarn and one ball of Be So Dazzling Yarn for embellishment in the edging. Be So Sporty Yarn is 325 yds per ball (325X2=650 yds) and Be So Dazzling is 100 yds per spool. Hope that helps!
Did I misunderstand. I thought written instructions were also included but I can’t find the link. The only link I find is one to purchase them. Sometimes I need written when I am in dialysis. Thanks for your help. I am a long time fan.
Beautiful shawl. Was wondering if it takes the full skeins of each color? If made in one color it would take 2? Would there be any left to make anything else?
Hiya, thank you for sharing this pattern. I'm not sure I'm doing it right. After row 4 each row is increasing by more than just 4 stitches and I don't have an even amount of single trebles on each side like in row 3 where there were 6 each sign. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x
@@zovi3363 I would check that you are doing two trebles, chain 1, one treble at the end also check the stitches in the chain 3 space at the top which should be two trebles, chain three and two trebles. I hope that makes sense

It's a beautiful shawl and I will try it but I don't think you should use the word begineer.. You go far too fast for any begineer to follow.! Slow it down please.

What a beautiful pattern just what I was looking for thank you what size hock did you use
Thank you! Pattern is linked in video description.
Thank you so much, I wonder are you leaving the edge around the neck as it or continue the edging on the neck edge?
You can add an edging around the neck edge if you like!
Love the tutorial and the shawl. Can you tell me how many yards it takes to make it thank you very much for this tutorial.
All the pattern links are provided in the video description.
Love it is beautiful. I have a question how many yards of yarn you use in this shawl

Beautiful shawl. Was wondering if it takes the full skeins of each color? If made in one color it would take 2? Would there be any left to make anything else?
It takes the full skeins for this project.
Beautiful colors, but out of stock since I 've tried checking.
Gorgeous shawl. I enjoyed the video. I will say that this is not beginner friendly.
Thanks

It is possible you are adding too many increases or forgetting to add increases on one side or the other. Keep practicing. You'll get it!
@@KristinOmdahl thank you for replying :) , for example in row 9 I have 69 stitches and in row 10 I have 77. Is this incorrect? X
@@zovi3363 I would check that you are doing two trebles, chain 1, one treble at the end also check the stitches in the chain 3 space at the top which should be two trebles, chain three and two trebles. I hope that makes sense
What is the difference between “tying your yarn to hook” and a slip stitch?
Nothing! Do whichever you prefer :)
? Were did you buy the dazzle yarn
This video is a few years old and that specific sequin yarn is discontinued. However, this is a close comparison: tinyurl.com/bde45y6s
Thank you almost have shawl completed but not sure if I can follow along on the edge you used
You're welcome to edge your shawl any way you like!
What yarn size are you using? And hook? I'm watching while going to sleep. Sorry.
All the info is linked in the video description.
Thank you.
🤩🤩🤩👍🏻
Thank you!
Hello, can this be worn as a sarong?
Sure!
❤💖🌹😷😀👍
Is this a dk weight yarn?
It is a sport weight, 100% bamboo yarn called Be So Sporty Yarn : www.kristinomdahl.com/yarn-1/be-so-sporty-yarn
Cristina Boa noite linda 😘
