I just love Dr. Fuhrman. I started ETL nearly 12 years ago and since then I have followed all the plant based docs. I still do his nutritarian plan( maybe with a few potatoes lol) but everything in his book has stayed true and effective. I lost 66 pounds and reversed multiple problems. I’m almost 65 now. I’m so grateful to him. I have all his books and cookbooks. Highly recommended. He is a good, caring loving man. Thank you for having him on your show. PS his podcast with his daughter is phenomenal too.

I’ve bought many of Dr Fuhrman’s books and programs. I’ve followed his nutritarian diet since 2017 after my thyroidectomy from thyroid cancer. Although I’m cancer free, I do not take my health for granted and know it’s not just diet but exposure to other environmental factors as well. I was asthmatic as a child and smoked for 10 years so Im worried about lung cancer risk even though I’ve been smoke free for over 30 years.

Thank you so much for this Interview AJ... with Dr. Fuhrman. I learnt a lot!
I had Breast Cancer and was operated 1 1/2 years ago, had only Radiation treatment. I was vegetarian for many many years, however went on a Vegan diet before i was operated, and feel great.
Plus i have Sri Lankan Ayurvedic Tea first thing in the morning on an empty stomach followed up with a special Ayurvedic herbal medication from Sri Lanka 1 hour before Breakfast.
I skip my medication for 1 week, to avoid the terrible after effects from it, and I feel great. Continuing to eat lots of cruciferous veggies, green veggies, raw and cooked. AlsoTofu, Mushrooms, Japanese style or made into a Curry with veggies, Dhal, chickpeas, pulses, powdered Flaxseeds, Chia, fruit with Yogurt...
Sri Lankan curry powder has so many valuable spices and herbs in it, which has amazing health benefits when used in a curry, therefore I enjoy the taste and benefits at the same time! I also eat Wholewheat bread with lots of seeds, drink geeen tea, black tea and superfood Amla, and Ayurvedic Herbal Tea, Ginger Tea, Kurkuma Tea on different days ofcourse, and Warm water!
Plus i work out in the gym, and enjoy going to the Sauna after my work out to build my Power!

I am so happy that there are such great doctors in the USA who choose a completely different approach. I have been feeding 97% WFPB SOS since 2016.
We in Germany/Europe only have a few such doctors, 3 are known for all of Germany and all others are fully booked.
I will be adding juicers back into my diet and this year wild herbs as these are said to have a lot more nutrients, such as nettle, gorse etc. You can use them to make pesto with nut butter or add a little to your salad. I will also plant microcreens on the south-facing windowsill in winter. Thanks Chef AJ, for the great Interviews and the automatic translate.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Of course its not just the diet or exercise as genetics and environment plays a role as well. Also beginning a
healthy WFPB diet as a child is more beneficial than starting at 60 years old. Meditation or a spiritual practice can be helpful in reducing stress. Dr. Furhman is brilliant. Look how healthy he looks and how sharp his mind is. Dr. Dean Ornish also shares information that has been proven to help live a healthier, happier life. We don't know how many days we will have, live in the present, enjoy the now. Be grateful for today and be kind to others.

Thank you AJ for this series that you have begun about cancer. I applaud your respect and love for Dr John McDougall who devoted his entire life to helping people know the truth about nutrition and health. “It’s the Food” and “The Truth Never Changes” will always remind me of him and his groundbreaking work.
Dr Joel and Dr John would spar on occasion about “potatoes and nuts et al.” However, I always admired Dr John’s commitment to the science, food and truth spreading without worry for financial personal gain. RIP
And now Dr Joel carries the torch w/wo Dr John’s full message.
Thank you, Dr Joel, for “freely” giving of your message with Chef AJ.

Wow!! It's such an excellent video. I have stage 2b her 2 breast cancer. It's aggressive as well, and my last chemotherapy treatment is this Friday. I did weekly chemotherapy. 18 weeks. The chemo also healed my autoimmune disorder, and I no longer itch, and my rash went away. I have had that my whole life, and I am in my 60s! I found this video to be very informative, and I will be doing my best to follow his plan. Thank you so very much for sharing this video with us! Happy healing, 2025 Chef Aj. Take care, and God bless ❤ ps 1 more thing I have to say. I think its funny. Right now I look like a dandelion seed head. Hahaha And my hair is white as it is growing in . All you need to do is blow on my head and make a wish. Hahahaha. And Thankyou Dr Furhman

I love my cruciferous! I steam them in the instant pot for 1 minute, sometimes I set it to cero minutes, that quick steam makes them crunchy “al dente” delicious easy to eat them a bit raw a bit cooked with avocado dip or hummus dip .. anything to make them taste delicious !
Specially those Brussels sprouts I need them grilled to avoid the strong flavour ! Yum
Thank you chef Aj , and Dr. Fuhrman for sharing your knowledge !
