This was a blast working with Steve! Cars still shreddin tires amd breakin' hearts!
You and Steve are quite the duo! I'll be the first to say that we need more!
Please do more stuff with Steve! You two go so well together
Are you going to the Monster Truck Hall of fame May 18 . Bringing a Monster Truck I helped build out. Missed you last time could not make it.
Yea but it should have a 383 or 440 I prefer the 383,with an old school 4 speed, with of course some big fat Cooper Cobras on it:-)
My name is on the underside of that deck lid. 😎
Steve it's time for your own channel You are a true engine builder and master for decades. Always love your content thank you for your contribution to the hot rod community
Agree...dude is a creative genius. Incredible know how and hands on experience lots could benefit from, best of all he portrays 0 ego unlike others on those channels.
Steve has had his own YT channel for years but doesn't do much with it, unfortunately.
@@413x398 Probably doesnt have time...or interest? Doesnt strike me as a guy who wants to spend time indoors fooling with a pc .
@@413x398He meets up with Birdsong sometimes which is pretty cool.
His knowledge, abilities, and humble charm are a very compelling combination. Any time I see a Dulcich video come up I'm watching it. Although I usually save it for night time with some refreshments and no distractions
Derick is one helluva driver !!!
indeed, in addition to being a great mechanic, Derek also really knows how to drive
@@justrandomstuff84 ...and Derek came in 2nd in the Indy 800 after Zach pushed Tony Stewart out of the way to give Zach the Win.
Wheel Man!!!
He can literally drive the tires off the car expert driver
He is humble as can be also!
Well that was nice and different. Gotta love Steve, very knowledgeable and a nice guy to boot.
These are two legends working together! Give them a show.
Agree. Who do we call?
Neither needs another job.
Not a few days … ? No , When it’s done - It’s done .
Oil sump “sloush “. My Camaro did that - but caused no problems . Added windage tray in pan from Moroso !
Gentleman ! Soo nice - Lovely …
Steve n Derrick are an awesome team.. Derrick can frigging drive! Great job fellers!
A match made in heaven 🫡
Anyone ever think how valuable engines masters episodes must be? These guys have tested about every configuration known to man. Only something I could dream of doing with all the changes I’ve made. Without engine masters I would have made some poor choices. Thanks guys!!!
bonus vgg footage is always nice, especially on a nice car
I've never been a Dodge fan. But I gotta admit, that thing sounds absolutely amazing.
Music to our ears.
Dulcich = legend!
As far back as I can remember reading Mopar magazines, Dulcich was there.
Steve and Derek have great chemistry ! Take note whoever produces this show!
These 2 are amazing together
Steve is just plain cool.✌️
We think so too!
You guys are a great team. I hope you will do something more difficult together because then I am sure Steve will shine. The man is a genius.
That’s a great sounding car! I could listen to it all day!
Another fabulous collaboration boys. I think these two are onto something here. Gear heads that are on the same wave length.
That Challenger was born to race.
Derick is quite the wheel man
I love Dulcich enthusiasm lol
Just fell a little harder for this car. Two down home boys fit a 6 speed and take down a brand new RT by 10 seconds driven by a guy as small as Tanner Foust with quick reaction timing. Awesome!
Swapping to a manual? YES!
I'm a chevy guy been so for years, but the challengers of that period are special.
An iconic era for Dodge!
Guys who know what they're doing always just know what to do. This was great guys.
Derick is a one of a kind. 😁🤙🏼 Awesome video!!
Derrick has legit driver skills. He was keeping pace with Tony Stewart at the Freedom race and now this. Dude is a wheel man for sure
Why does Steve always have to be the second banana and just used to help wrench . Let's get him up front sometimes where he belongs.👍
🥈🎻
He has his own show,do u sub?😊
He is a good mechanic and host too
He's the master, everyone learns
Mopar master!
Soooo so good, thanx fellas.
Wow! Well done lads.
I liked the, tacking while looking away while wearing the shield 👍
Great team-up. More please.
A fellow could get tired of a fellow. But Yay for Steve.
Too cool! Love this work crew combo.
Go Steve your help is always in need. Go D man.
@matthewmann8951 Go D man is wild
Its good watching you two working together you are the same in your love of cars.
Good to the vp back it needs alot of love 👍
I did not expect that. The wheel man!
Here for VGG 🙂👍
I like the poor man's welding helmet 😅!
Very since video!! And that trans helped make more if a beast out of that dinosaur !!
You boys were in your element!
So glad you got steve on the project, bet he is happy to help. Follow both of you guys, would love to meet you both. When you going to famoso drag strip. Come on Derrick, make a trip up our way.
good driving!
Gotta love Dulcich
Derrek and Ducich is an amazing combination, they need their own series!
Happy to see vanishing paint out and about again. I keep thinking to ask Derrick about it in my comments but I usually forget.
Great video and an amazing amount of work to get that all done in just a few days = wow!!!
great show you guy`s !
I'm so glad you kids are having a good day!
Love the old challengers, miss my 1979 Hemi challenger
I love it! Challengers were built for road course racing, TransAm racing. 👍
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
We need a roadkill vs roadworthy build off between friburger and finnigan, derrick& Steve. Epic
That car sounds amazing
Man I thoroughly enjoyed this 👍👍
Love that car!!! So excited to see what's next with that car! It's really a good story and the best of guy's to go with it!!!!!
Dang that boy can drive!
Pretty cool car! Looks like it's pretty much all there!
What most people dont know is that Dulcich once worked with, and learned from, David Vizard. He's a lot smarter than he plays on tv.
Awesome job fellers!
Love the Mopar build!
That was excitin, an a Lot of fun 4 this O'l feller. Good Job Mr really good job.
Your a regular pair of Kowalski’s the old chunk went alright !
Well I’ll be dipped !
American Muscle!! What more to say .. 😎🇺🇸
One tough looking Challenger there. I loved listening to it on the track too.
Great video and great job on the car! That car is just awesome. "Vanishing Paint". Love it!
Seems to be geared pretty sweet for a road course, unless the audio was tweaked it sounded like is was right where it liked to be. Somewhere between redline and valve float. =) Heck of a Run sir, great car guys!
never a dull moment!!.
Just seen this pop up, I am excited!
The fist bumping Blues Brothers episode.
I like this format alot !
VGG diversifying...love to see it.
Well Il'l be dipped. Two VGG videos and one Derick + Motor Trend video in one week! Wow!
And Derick is on Stay Tuned with Tony Angelo this week it's a pretty funny episode came out Friday
My elbow hurt watching you hurt your elbow.😂😅
Cool cars, cool mechanics!
Just made my Saturday!
This is old right? I thought this car has had shine juice on it for quite a while.
My thoughts as well. He's had this car for a while.
You have to keep up with the shine juice. It will dull out eventually. This is the episode he just filmed while he was working on his black Jeep that he flat tows behind his camper. Derek and Jessica were doing some paint correction on the Jeep and he said that he was filming a Roadworthy episode at 7:30am in his shop the next day. Probably filmed about a month or two ago.
I agree the guy has more talent and engine knowledge than most guys wrenching today.
I know I have said this but you guys are amazing !
Always great to see Dave Mustaine from Megadeth be excited about cars
Very much fun thanks an looking good too thanks 👍👍👍👍👍😊
i'm glad there's guys that will change to standard
Polecat! What a great track
Way to go! And its good to show what the factory suspension is capable of. To many people think you have to ditch the factory k-frame and suspension on these cars when its really not true.
Thanks
Ace lads
Ahh the cross pipes and long downheaders from Summit racing. Bought a set over here in lil old NZ for a 66 396 supersport lol
I love that car.
I hope this video has a longer version. I want to see the clutch pedal and drive shaft work.
wish these episodes were longer to get more awesome content.
This is a abbreviated version, full episodes on MAX
Good to see you working on mopar s
It had to be the racing shoes!!
Nice, I want one :- )
Dad use to say, "if it's not broke, don't fix it!
Steve D!
I have had some nasty flash burn to the eyes... it may be a pain to use, buttt...
Serious flash burn😅
It's gotta be the ponytail brother!
Love the video! By the way a 5 speed is much easier to install. Only difference is 150mph vs 180mph!
Would love to see that T56 as a sequential.... And Magnum actually have that kit as an option. Be great on track days.
THAT is purely final drive. As a road racer I have looked at the math with both TKX and Magnum 6 speed and neither are ideal because of the ratios. Strong boxes yes and great for a street car BUT far from close ratio. Super T10, Super Muncie, GSR G Force are all more suitable. And all 4 speeds.
