I believe in this next decade Mississippi will reinvent itself. It will be a state where many will relocate to a thriving economy. Also with a large number of retirees. Many are leaving big northern, central, and western cities. I moved to Texas when the economy here took off. I plan retire to to the Magnolia State.I see it as a state with a very bright future…

Madison is one of the top 10 places in the US to live. Mansdale school and Germantown are the best. Even have a Montessori school. Wonderful place, wonderful people, beautiful homes, beautiful people, all religions represented, even a Mosque. But 10 miles south is Jackson, YUK.

Good they want to keep the area looking good and clean. Property and homeowners will take more pride than renters.

How are the tornadoes in the area? Are most north Mississippi? Thanks!

They aren't too bad. I won't say they don't ever happen, but the few that have hit here in the metro area have been minor causing minimal damage if any. I made a couple other videos about the weather and tornadoes more in depth if you're interested. th-cam.com/video/EyjQdxcCYVM/w-d-xo.html & th-cam.com/video/eZfICfwJ9fI/w-d-xo.html

Please don't even mention Jackson. Will ruin the whole image of Madison even though they are 2 separate counties and cities.

We primarily talk to people relocating here so typically they know they area as Jackson. We mention it because that’s what people are searching for and then we can show them the differences in the area.

@@LivingInJackson I shouldn't have made that comment but when I graduated from college, I moved to Jackson and worked at UMMC. Lived on Keel street in North Jackson at the Galaxy apts in a 1 bedroom. Upscale area. Paid $225 month, outrageous in the early '80s. Changed career and was transferred to LA and them NYC. Moved back to Mississippi after retirement. Just sad to see that once a beautiful city, the crossroads of the South had gone down so much. Back then, moving to Jackson from a small town was like moving to NYC. Coming home on days of with a Hinds County tag was a big deal. Love your channel and hope I didn't offend. You do a great job. Back when I was there, Madison didn't even exist. It was Ridgeland then nothing else til Canton. Use to moonlight at Canton hospital and Madden hospital and the drive seemed so long and dark. Now it's lights everywhere.
