Wow I really hope this comes into my country soon because it would eliminate so many wires I have to deal with when im using my webcam+mic combo. Im constantly on the go and having this thing would be fantastic.
the samson is brilliant, after i figured out how to properly connect it to my phone it's great for recording my acoustic guitar, very good quality sound. i can see why they designed the clip on the way they did, but fixing it to the mic stand by screwing it in leaves the mic a bit floppy, it's no problem to position it, but the ball and socket could be better, and even more universal, other than that, yoiks! good value for the money. they do one with a camera apparent;y, but i can't see where to buy.....
What about adjustable gain for the microphone? On device? Or software only? Either case that be great for the home even for recording as well but if you're taking it on the go like out to a bar to watch the music you will need one with a dial on the device ... sometimes it is a necessity. I'm looking at the zoom q2n as well .. but this one is more affordable and smaller .
