I dont know why i feel the need to tell this fictional character that only a portion of the on-hand cash is kept in the registers at any given time in most retail establishments. There, now that its been cleared up he can ask for his job back now.
One thing I especially love about Lighthouse Horror is that in so many of the stories you seem to be the only sane person on the planet while everyone else is not only insane but downright smug about it.
@Victor Palacios I’ll try and simplify. You know how lunatics are notorious for saying “I’m not crazy. Everyone else is ?”. With Lighthouse Horror stories that actually seems to be the case. Our hero daily faces a world truly gone mad and with a hilarious sense of humor about it. That’s what I meant if that clarifies anything.

My gas station boss was named Mary. I was in college and she was a 30yr vet in the industry. She started after her career in the Navy was over. I always referred to her as a grizzled, old Navy broad. Never to her face though I think she would have laughed.

I would have needed to know where that person went, I know I'm safe here in my room but I'd like to think that I would have investigated that peeping smelly wet weirdo even if I had to do it on my own time. In fact yeah I'd bring a mate strap on a go pro, wait for him to appear and hopefully intimidate him enough that he reveals his entry/exit point. Then I'd call the police. 😁
