      This meditation is wonderful for beginners. So many do not teach basiss and help the student ocercome the small things thatbdo not have to hinder them. Thank you and keep me posted.

    For some reason, the 30 seconds felt longer than the 45... anyway, thank you very much for this. I just realized how I can make it so that boring tasks I have to do in everyday life feel less frusttrating and tedious: by realizing that they are a wonderful way of practicing focus! What a wonderful life changer!

    Blue : it was pretty difficult at first but as soon as I started focusing on waves, it felt like it had been a second since I had started
    Orange : fire or lava
    Pink : clothes from when I was a kid
    I focused on one thing that resonated with the colour instead of the colour itself, and it made all those seconds fly by

      this is so true. I realized the same thing while focusing.
      Blue: I first tried to focus on the colour but it was difficult so I instead started focussing on a blue sail of a ship in the sea.
      Orange: the fruit
      pink: a pink sky at sunset

    I actually loved this one! Thanks so much. I kept driving in and out of the concentration but the way you reminded us to be kind to ourselves and acknowledge what we are doing encourages me to keep going! Please do more of these, I tried looking for your intermediate focus video but can't find it. Are you uploading it any time soon?

    Thank you for this video. I was trying to convice myself to do meditation more than 4 years, whenever I tried ı failed. But today ı did it even though sometimes I lost myself in thoughts, i didn’t look up the timer and see how many minutes left which is great accomplishment for me.

    The first 5seconds of focusing , I was actually doubtful whether im really seeing the colour or not.
    • Next 30seconds, I was seeing it but getting my focus again n again back
    • the last 45seconds went by so quickly and I was shocked that I focused and didnt realise the time!

    I struggle with daily executive dysfunction. This actually made me feel more capable of focusing, and I think my brain was a little smart about it by thinking of things and imagery that are the colour rather than just the colour itself. Each set of focus seconds went by quicker than I thought :') Thanks again

    i have started doing these meditations at work, to try and focus on work, not procrastinating away tasks bc i do not know where to start them or even how to do them entirely. I have spent entire days avoiding work and i hate myself for this dishonesty and abuse of trust. kind of. hate may be a little too strong here, but its also not too far off.
    I do these every day now, 5-10 minutes, and my hope is, that this can help me become a better colleague to all those around me.
    I do not want to be lazy. *just do the thing* even under threat is not a thing that works. maybe this does. i hope it will.

      @@natalialabiosa9533 kind of, yes. Sometimes when I get the feeling o standing in m own way, i will do this meditation, and most days, I can get to doing stuff. Listening to music in the background also is a huge help. btw for me, most o that 'anti-adhd-music' does not help, so i tend to stick with stuff i love llistening to anways. or good videogame soundtracks.
      Sometimes i cant break the curse, but those days have become very few.

    For some reason, when I was trying to focus on the colour, my mind visualized a circle with the colour but it changed to a dimmer or lighter shade of the colour, then slightly moving and the more I tried to concentrate on it, the more it changed. Then, when trying to visualize the name of the color, I'd get distracted with the previous circle in the background. I think social media has really taken a toll on me. But I hope i get better the more I do this.

    Day 1 Of Doing This Consistently: Kinda tricky, got distracted a few times but nothing too crazy. On the pink, it was wild I was able to complete focus on the color
    Day 2: Had a terrible stuffy nose so it made it harder, focusing was pretty tricky and I had to keep restarting the video, but I did it!
    Day 3: No snuffy nose so thats good, I was super tired though so I stayed laying down. My focus was eh, but a lot better on Pink.

    When you told us to focus on different colors i actually imagined things that have those colors, for eg i was visualizing barbie in pink dress when you said to focus on pink. Is that okay?

    I can feel pink was a slightly harder color for me to imagine but I still was able to even for just a bit so pat on the back me and for anyone else who also struggled with that color or maybe another color!

    I just want to ask if it's okay when imagining the color many that colored items comes into my mine. Like for example orange, i imagined the fruit, the sunset, orange dress. Etc.?
