Great videos Brent. Just a small correction is that torque vectoring is not what you might think it is. Torque vectoring happens when in a corner and is when the car slows down the inside wheel to allow the outside wheels to catch up and help corner quicker.
Of course I got that mixed up with the auto down shifting sound.

Brent could you feel the low end acceleration improvements with the new Project 8 torque convertor and slight peak torque increase?

I’m leaning towards another F-Pace SVR. 2022 model so all the upgrades, might be getting one in about 4 months! For me I love the looks and drive of the F-Pace. And the sound of course. I prefer a car drive.

Rather than press the Park button, what happens if you simply press start/stop while its on? I believe it should just automatically put the car in park and turn it off. Other comment would be if you have driven the other high performance SUVs; where does the f pace svr rank? I've driven x3m, glc63, macan gts, and waiting to go drive f pace and Alfa stelvio
Word is JLR just got hit hard by chip shortage, specifically heads up display chip. Have you heard anything?
I didn't get the HUD included because of this, but it seems to be an option now. I'm asking if it can be included as mine is still in the build queue

This car cost me $110 to refuel and 4 times a month, yesterday I got mashed by a glc 63s
What is interesting about the Jag is that it sits in a weird middle zone between the competition. It is a tweener. Not X3, and not X5. Not Macan, and not Cayenne. Only the GLC compares in size.
@@BrentSushi Issue with X4m is the coupe appearance, so you lose out on the practicality vs the Jag. Rumor is next year is going to be the the BMW N63 engine which would definitely be faster, but you lose some character, and it is a little bit more of a reliability concern.
@@BrentSushi Yeah i dropped a deposit down for the SVR. Probably screwed for chip shortage. However, if they do decide to go the 4.4 route or some are saying drop the SVR f Pace entirely; either way I bet these 5.0 will be actually a kind of a mini collector/valuable commodity in a few years.
The wheels suck - they ruin what is a great car.
Different wheels would be a game changer.
At first I didn't prefer the wheels that came with my 2018 XF, but now I got used to it & like it.
probably the worst review of an SVR that I have seen, Brent probably needs to read up on the specs before attempting another review.
