As a previous owner of 2020 RR sport, I would never step foot back into LR dealership again. Followed by transmission failure last year. The car is capable and refine, but when it is not reliable, it is not just worth the hassle even if then give you extended warranty.

From my experience the ingenium engines haven't been that problematic, probably about on par with the German competitors. Most of the issues they have these days are just software issues, which quite often seem to get misdiagnosed as hardware issues and have modules replaced instead of a simple software update. Slowly but surely the software issues are being ironed out so they're getting there
For me there are three problems with the interior (and I have recently test driven one). The ‘floating’ screen looks like it’s attached to the dash with Velcro, the centre console is cheap looking black plastic, and the Meridian system is only 15 speakers and 400 watts. My late model series 2 isn’t going anywhere for a while.
The most annoying thing is that now is looking more bulky than the previous one by making the windows less taller. Range rover had a special feeling because of the view from interior where the margins of the windows were lower than the elbow level.
There are 3 12v sockets on these Mat: -One inside the passenger glove box (the top one) -One on the centre console of the rear seats -And one on the boot, on the vertical of the RR corner 😜
A huge well done for deleting the rearmost seats which massively compromise several aspects of the vehicle and not just rear space! Interior quality looks very good indeed, just hoping reliability has taken a leap in the right direction! 👏😀👍

While you were talking about the exterior, I didn't see a rear washer/wiper. Is it unavailable in this car, or was it hidden below the spoiler.? 🤔
In all of the range rovers they are hidden in the spoiler
I think us and you already know the answer to your inexcusable question of unwarranted intent, but just incase it's a. "Land Rover" Product. Would they really forget to acknowledge thee "rear wiper"? 🤔
Everyone ask self.
At least its a only a bit 'sporty', which means a comfortable ride for most of the time. Engines should be inspired by motorsport not suspension. Suspension should be inspired by rally driving on the softest possible setting but of course with hard sway bars so no leaning in bends
11:19 - cuz it's hard to clean? *topic: charging mat
The color grading on your productions have gone places! Bravo
System lag is seriously a no go I think. That is something for 2012, not 2022.
Its same with any car infotainment , They are not good in Making os, hope in future google provide an Os like android
Tbh the map seems better
Did you mention which engine is in the car you driving here Matt?
King of Broken Down SUV of the year 🎉
494 and 405 was the pinnacle range rovers they reached the top back in 2017
Only downhill from there
Not a cliff but still not as good
The only thing that makes me interested in this car is the surround cameras. Thanks for reviewing.💙💙❤❤
Finally a Land Rover adding real exhaust
Wow Mat makes everything a masterpiece 👏
The divider isn't for shopping but mainly as a seat as you don't have a split tail gate so you can picnic from the car at country shows/the races/change shoes easier when walking the dog etc
pretty uncomfortable seat as it doesn't even fold to 90 degrees, and your trousers are going to get very dirty when your legs hang over the rear bumper.
Wow, the biggest spoiler that range rover has ever fitted. Fantastic.
In other news, some paint is drying slowly in some village.
It's the two arrow which opens the dash
Lmao bro carwow has 7 million subs now??? Y’all have come a long way and I’m happy for that💯
very much resembles Velar
i love Velar
Looks alright still, dont look too bad
And nice with the REAL exhausts 👌🏾
Just test drove this - it is indeed a lovely and luxurious place to be. The ventilated seats in the front and rear seats are a game-changer in warm climates like Australia. Seriously considering…
The key of the Vauxhall Astra that you show is actually the exact same key that I have for my 2012 Peugeot 508 😅
lol, stay in the matrix
And 2022 308
@@themannestman Yes ofc because it's 99% the same car as the 308
Police: Do you know why you were pulled over?
Mat: because I'm mat wattson
And you're watching carwow!
Looks a lot better than the big brother 👍
Hey Mat..... You've really explained very good and I felt very interesting of this Range Rover Sport and just wanted to know where have you took the video of this car exactly at which place..... As I'm from India and it is very green over there and it is a very good place to have an amazing ride in the Range Rover........... 😊
That infotainment screen looks like an afterthought. Tackarama
The car looks so good! Loved range getting better from bad rep to good!
Yes, it's very nice car however be full of problems out of warranty
its so ugly
Was waiting for your Review MAT ♥️
I like the old sport it looks wonderful in my (opinion)
you’re right better
The only think more aggressive about the sport compared to the RR are the drivers.
The perfect car until everything starts falling apart.
Range Rover makes off-road beasts!
Until they break down while off road 😬
Yes, they are always off the road
son of beasts🤣
I like this one, first RR for about 20 years. It looks less 'bling' on the outside.
Also like this interior colour. I think this one looks way more classy than any RR product released in years.
@@user-tb4ow1xp2w it is. I don't like RR (or any SUV type car), but this one is very nice.
Class looking motor! Iconic looks that can't be replicated by the competition.
Chinese models🤡
@@groundedgaming loll don't compare it with bmw shitty new faces this new model looks preety good
@@bsjddjk ? I mean the Chinese models can "replicate" the original iconic looks
@@groundedgaming original & iconic model won't survive for long as ppl need fresh & futuristic faces now
@@bsjddjk fresh and futuristic isn’t that thew new Range Rover?
Again Matt do the Bentayga please
playing around with the heated seats and the fan is rather easy, common sense if you press down its the heated seats (its under) pull up (aiming at your body/face) fan i like this feature
This new Range Rover Sport is absolutely insane with a cool and sporty design and a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six engine and a electric motor with 510hp!
I was about to watch the video but I won't now... thanks
NPC comment
Batteries make an already heavy car a behemoth. Nothing wrong with six (ideally a durable straight six) and eight cylinder petrol engines.
@@rasherbasher8203 .. stick to the bacon mate ...
What a amazing car Mat and review
So great Range Rover, love it, typically the design is very elegant, and strong feelings.
Hi Mat, can you also put on the link of your wardrobe clothing as well under your comment section or put it on the pop up banner...? I'm loving your jacket...
There is a diamond shaped button on the steering wheel for the Stop-Start so. you don't have to engage the big display, very convenient
These reviews are so addictive I enjoyed the whole video.
Best Range Rover thus far for sure🎉
Range rover sport so far , the big one is a moder classic
I hope they fixed “the reliability issue”😂
Very nice motor gov. Really nice actually without being too over the top.
The shape n design of that car is enough to buy it straight up
A perfect vehicle has day to day reliability and durability.
No endless niggles or prospect of catastrophic failure within the first hundred thousand miles.
A perfect vehicle also decent resale value.
I like this new style…to lease it for 3yrs so I don’t have to deal with any issues.
If you were to lease this exact model for 3 years, how much would you have paid in total over the 3 year period? Genuine question.
@@electricbreeze Depends of many factors but now with prices really high, I would pay around $1,300/month…that’s $39K in a 3yrs lease.
The interior in the Range Rover looks so comfortable, you sit nicely while waiting for your tow truck to come pick you up.
We just got ours 2 weeks ago and love the thing already! The fridge is a must. I wonder if the owner sourced the spare wheel themselves as you cannot order it with the car. We did and it was cancelled as it’s not available.I noticed that the car has the same missing LED’s from the strip under the steering wheel as ours has, what’s that all about.
How long was your wait time? I ordered one in September and no news on build date!
@@pedrocorpus spot on 6 months but we did order on release day.
@@pedrocorpus It was 6 months almost to the day. We were one of the first orders in. If you click on my TH-cam channel there’s a couple of videos on it along with a pretty unique story as we’ve sort of ordered 2. We were told that if you ordered the top of the range one (ours isn’t that one) the wait would be very long as they can’t get the parts for some of the extras. I hope yours comes soon.
@@DisneyMarkUK Thanks! Will check out your vids
@@pedrocorpus Thank you. There’s many more videos to come too.
Wow, it didn't break down during the video.
The design of the screen is absolutely cutting-edge, but they need to use a better SOC next time (not smooth enough).
Beautiful, I hope it’s more reliable now ❤
That is just a beautiful machine
This new Range Rover Sport looks so cool and sporty!
Every vehicle you say the same thing...every one...
Bot is limited
This guy is a good presenter and has a good sense of humor
RS6/7 performance versions are released. It would be great to see a drag race among M5 comp, E63s AMG and RS6/7 performance.
