@@jamesh5717 I know, I've been to quite a few countries with mixed use zoning and I always desired the same in the US. But the reality is they aren't being built fast enough and the few that are built around here are always luxury oriented.
@@Blaze6432 Yeah that's a sad reality for many countries. But if done right it can be affordable, That's why people need to go to local city planning meetings to express their concern and stick it to the nimby (if you have it in your country.)
A lot of people would love to live in a place like this..... if they could afford to.
If the zoning rules / codes weren't so strict and they are built more like they used to be then they would be more affordable.

I'd like to see a trend toward no car use. The car mentality is not healthy for our communities / commuters.
