"Meadow" by Jake Kiernan, 2023.
This is my second original song! Symbolically, this song is about overcoming internal struggles, much like the feeling of reaching an open meadow after a long and miserable hike. I took that photo during a camping trip with my best friend.
I wrote this specifically for performing live. I was kindly invited to perform at NAMM 2023 by Felix Martin and his team at Felix Martin Guitars. Based in California, Felix and his team handcrafted a ten string custom bass guitar for me, featuring their unique double neck design and custom Bartolini pickups.
