- In this video, I'll walk you through almost everything about the installation process for the sustainiac, including behind the scenes footage and multiple demos. Of course, there was plenty of details that I chose to skip over for the sake of convenience, so drop your questions and suggestions in the comments if you have any!
-Thanks again for the huge support on my first Sustainiac video!

As someone who spent a year troubleshooting and installing a sustainiac, gg man.
You're a real one🤝
someone needs to get this man a deal and make this a signature bass asap
Hope Spector will read this🙏
The mad man finally did it. That’s KILLER dude.
Lmao!! Thank you so much!🔥
that sounds magical as hell
I agree. Like a magical flute
Dude, your channel is so sick. Instant sub 🤘
Thank you so much! There's a lack of content right now bc I'm working on a project that you'll see soon. I appreciate you!
@@jakekiernan33 no worries, take your time!
Coolest thing I've seen on a bass.
Glad you enjoy!
i neeeeeeed this in my life
Yes you do👏
Great video❗ What a beautiful bass❗👍👍👍
Thank you! I agree
cant wait for this man to get a signature, because i cant wait to use it
Trueeee🔥
Routing and drilling holes into a bass like a Spector would make me so nervous! You did a fantastic job. Super cool mod man!
Thanks so much! Believe me, we were both nervous.
Sick bass and tones. Well done brother.
I appreciate that!!
Ok this is fantastic!!!!!
I'm glad you think so!
Wow! I just love when someone does exactly the opposite of what convention suggests, and it then works.
Lmao, that means we're on the right track
you could probably write some great solos with this set up
I agree! Hoping to make this a special live performance thing
Wow I always thought about this!
Glad i could visualize it for you!
@@jakekiernan33 Ever thought of building this out for clients?
I have! I've been thinking about making my own sustainer for basses in the future
@@jakekiernan33 Let me know I am very interested. I just dont have the time to do this myself sadly. I have plenty of basses I can do this on plus I want to add a whammy to one of them.
Have always wanted to do this to a bass
It's different!
Great Video, now I really need to make a demo of how the Sustainiac sounds on my baritone 7 string fretless guitar!
Thank you! I'd be interested!
@@jakekiernan33 I just published one, just a short improv and it's a very different vibe from your video !
I too enjoy listening to the distractible podcast
No way you caught that😭
Holy shit this rocks
Thank you!!
Imagine damage inc intro with that
Truee
Well now I need a sustaniac guitar & bass
Agreed! I reccomend finding a guitar that has one already in it, if you can.
That is one Wild Bass Guitar. 👍
I appreciate that!!🔥
Cool!
Thank you!
Are you using a chorus or flanger of some sort, trying to figure out if it's an effect or the sustainer?
Great job on this. It looks great!
You have a good ear! I'm using chorus, reverb, and distortion on my pedalboard. The sustainer by itself does not sound like that, I definitely should have clarified that in the video.
Similar to the moog guitar. It could feed or take energy from the strings. Is this the same tech?
Similar! The sustainiac takes imput from the bridge pickup and amplifies that through magnetic current onto the string.
Michael Manring: 🤔
Lmao i love him
@@jakekiernan33best solo Bassist i know.
And his Hyperbass. 🤤
Just lacks a sustainiac. 😏
Maybe he should pickup that idea. (pun intended😅).
@robertb8673 so true😭🔥
I don't think he can do it because the fretboard on his Hyperbass goes all the way to the pickup.
What pedals and settings are you using
Powered by electromagnetic free energy devices from illegally compartmented black projects stolen from Nicola Tesla by Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and Northrop Grumman.
Jake which model Spector are you using ?
Spector Euro 5LX!
It started with Steve Vai, it ended with a precious looking and sounding bass
You know it's true🔥
Wicked.
🔥🔥🔥
If all else fails, people have reverse engineered the Sustainiac system and there are tutorials on making your own pickup drivers for the board.
Please play some Type O Negative🙏🙏
We love copyright strikes🗣📢🔥🔥
Now do it on a fretless
I will not be buying another sustainiac😭
Piter Stele ?
Yes🔥
How can your cut up a spector... YOU ANIMAL! did sound dope though lol
Lmao, trust me I was a nervous wreck
Play Type O
Only for the goth mommies
Rip Cliff, you would have loved this
LMAO💀💀
This video has way too few views.
Thank you so much🙏
It’s been 2days. Be patient.
I DO NOT need a sustaniac on my bass. NO SIR
*sigh*

😭😭😭
This is some innovative, brilliant idea. High five, man
P. S. I subscribed
Justin from the Philippines
Thank you so much, Justin!! I appreciate your support.
Интересно,сколько времени,струны держат строй ,после такой растяжки?
Струны очень хорошо держат строй!
