Ways on making yourself a morning person: 1. Start the night before 2. Wake up at the same time everyday 3. Have a defined plan of what you want to achieve when you wake up *have one thing on your list that is non negotiable 4. Time blocking 5. Choose a task that is challenging in the morning (something you need help with) and choose a task that you can do independently 6. Plan a must have break between 8-12
Oh yesss winter mornings are brutal. I make sure to get the heating timed on so it’s warm when I wake up. Have something cosy to wear and have something hot to drink. That typically starts me on the right foot in winter mornings.
Awesome! Thanks! I love the authenticity at 9:38 " Early in the morning, first thing in the morning, you're relying on yourself to make those decisions?!?" Never saw it this way but major eye opener when you phrased it like this.
These are excellent tips! I've definitely found that preparing the night before is crucial. If I'm working in the office, I'll make sure to pack my lunch and snacks the night before as well to save a lot of time and decision making in the morning.

As a mama and a researcher I am interested too! We unfortunately have no help from family or anyone else at all. Just a few hours of kindergarten a day(those few lucky days when the child isn’t sick 😄)
Hey 👋🏽 that’s a good question. When the kids are home, we (husband and I) look after them together. Cleaning and cooking is shared, so if I cook, husband cleans and vice versa. We don’t have a strict ‘you do this and I do that’ - we both know how difficult it is to have two little ones so it’s just about making sure one person doesn’t take the challenge on alone, which isn’t fair. The kids have just started all-day nursery from 8am-6pm, which I’m really grateful for and that frees me up during the day to be able to get work done. Before this, I would always cook/clean with them around & just give them things to do keep them busy. And then I’d work when they were napping/asleep. It was definitely such a challenge which is why I decided to get them into nursery! Hope that helps 😊
I would love to know what happens for those of us who work shifts at regular times and therefore have a body clock that gives us a "morning" at say 2 or 3 pm. Would our hours for optimal function be 1400-1800 pm, then? Or does the business of functioning best in the first 4 hours HAVE to apply to 0800-1200? And then, what about those of us who work irregular shifts that mean rising at different times several times a week? Do those people have a worse time in their first 4 hours of the day than everyone who keeps regular sleep/rising times?
I struggle with my morning routine & productivity when my daughter is sick... She is 3 years old, she goes to school and... You know... Viruses everywhere 😅😢... Any tips?
Yeah when kids are sick it’s just survival mode! I just try to make sure they’re eating as balanced a diet as possible and taking their vitamins to protect them internally. But otherwise, it’s all a hot mess when they’re sick!
Thank you for such a great video! Needing to sort out my schedule to get a real work/life balance! Sorry to ask such an irrelevant question but where is your turban from? The Quality looks amazing!

Looking forward to this. Mornings are a gift I try not to waste. It’s harder on winter mornings however.

The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned in an authentic narration that the morning time has been blessed for this ummah. Subhan Allah.

Thank you for your video. It was incredibly helpful
I wish... I've been struggling with this my entire life. It's really difficult when sleep is your coping mechanism...
