Introducing the brand new Scout LT. The result of years of work and listening to our customers, the Scout LT is the little brother of the Scout XT, but no less capable. What is the difference? Good question. Let's dive in . . .
Let's start with color.
With four frame colors and the option to bundle all the palmswell colors, your slingshot can be tricked out in no time. Mix and match frames and palmswells for up to 16 different combos. We're offering 5 combos standard: Original Green, Camo, Double Black, Hunter Camo, and New Brown (we need your help naming it; more on that later).
The Frame.
Keep it simple and you've got a thin, pocketable frame with a pinky hole.
Are you a wrapper? Imagine the possibilities for those of you into paracord wraps!
Attach the palmswell scales to give your frame a more substantial grip (you can even swap sides for varying grips).
Add in the optional weight for the handle and the Scout LT is just loaded with possibility.
And, of course, you can wrap and tuck. The forktips will receive tie-ins like a champ while accommodating the latest FlipClip X for Scout LT.
Banding options? Yeah, we've got you covered!
Two years ago when the Scout LT was just a concept, there were several requirements. At the top of the list: the best banding system in the world.
And while FlipClip X was the obvious choice, there was one important factor. No left and right components. While Scout XT has forktips requiring a left and right FlipClip, Scout LT has truly universal forktips.
What does that mean? It means every clip is the same. No left or right.
No swapping clips to convert from OTT to TTF.
Wanna shoot tubes? Thick flats? No problem.
Again, FlipClips have come of age. After literally years upon years of refinements, this is the band attachment to rule them all.
Easily band up tubes (single and looped), fat bands, tiny bands, or wide bands with ease.

I just ordered mine and I’m so freaking excited. Months of research led me here to my first one being the scout and everyone saying it’s the best on the market. I bought the weight too. This guy in the video did a perfect job. If he doesn’t own the company then give this man stock in it cause he’s the reason you’re successful.

Ive hunted rabbits with 10mm tubes all my life. Just converted my home made slingshot to 4x1mm bands. Its even faster and more accurate. Mine will shoot marbles 40ft in about a quarter of a second. Now its even faster with bands

It's June 2023, and today I just received my very first SCOUT LT slingshot, ever ! I have never tried a slingshot other than a kid in the 70's toy. I'm excited to get into the sport and the competitions look like fun social gatherings with non stop laughter.

I got one of these two weeks ago. I was using a Daisy B52. I had no idea how much accuracy I was sacrificing, and with light ammo this thing shoots just as fast, maybe faster. It's great!

Hi could you possibly tell me if cuttung bands diagonally changes the dynamics of the band? Or is it ok? Also why do some forks have like a disc or almond shape at the top? Does it not cut the bands?

Absolutely amazing and versatile catapult! If only the fork tips were a little wider (25-30mm), doubt I'd be shooting any other frame:) Looking forward to trying the Torque though. Keep up the good work!
Love the Scout LT, especially the Pro version. After 5 years and 30 frames including beautiful cast aluminum and handmade Chinese, I decided to pick just one frame, bands and pouch, quit experimenting and get accurate with it. I now use All Simple- Shot stuff. The new Beautiful well made aluminum Pro LT with handle weights is the BEST for me. The other ergonomic frames feel good in my hand in the house, look beautiful but it is when shooting 50+ rounds well, without once thinking about your frame, that's what is important. Some frames feel better than they shoot. Many little design features add up to the total package. GO LT.
I'm saving pennies for mine already. Can't wait finally, but I need a camo one!

My 1st 3 shots with my new scout lt were all on target. I didnt want to shoot again incase I lost my 100% accuracy record. I love it. I also added the weight and it has now become my 1st choice replacing my ocularis. I also switched from ttf with the ocularis to ott with the scout lt without any issues. Only been using it 2 days and can hit a can at 9 yards without even sighting in. This thing is amazing, thanks Nathan

Just got mine in the mail today. I just set it up and I definitely like it alot. I love my torque but this one feels perfect and I'm going to try TTF for the first time. Simleshot is the best
It has reached my Japan home finally on Monday.
The impressions tried out are light, and it's easy to grasp and it's easy to shoot, and are hit against a target easily and are best.
Time prefers to take a review video.

Will do! I’ll try and get ya a little video on my review too. Simpleshot has been an awesome company to deal with, answered all my silly newby email questions, and the online slingshot community as a whole has been friendly, mature, and inviting.
I have been shooting slingshots on and off for several years. I have a really nice collection, and many sizes and styles. But I constantly switched off between them. Even during one shooting session. If I started missing, I'd pick up another model. I never worked through and corrected my bad habits. Recently I decided to pick one model and put the rest in a box, and shoot this one exclusively. After a few days of shooting them all. I settled on the Scout LT. With the better more efficient latex The trend now is to smaller frames and lighter ammo, easily portable and pocketable too. Even though I have preferred TTF Band (through the forks) attachment. I think this model shoots and aims best for me OTT (over the top) band attachment. I am now shooting only 5/16 size steel. With matching simple shot bands. Wow, I have finally figured out the best anchor point and pouch release. The cans don't have a chance anymore. I bought an orange frame so I can better see my aiming point in the darker woods. I got a couple more frames, the same LT so I can soon experiment with lighter bands and clay biodegradable ammo in the woods. And plastic practice ammo in my motel rooms. All with identical frames. I got a foldable catch box from Amazon for $16 that folds up the size of a saucer but springs open full size. It's great. This has been a great move for me.

You should make a clip with a fibre optic sight, most chinese frames use them and they are becoming very popular in the UK and ireland I find they have really improved my accuracy.
I think that frame would be awesome with a fibre optic on the clip

Update on my new scout LT. Just managed to hit 5 dead ringers in a row on a 1.5 inch target at 33ft using TTF with simpleshot's 12×18mm bands at their original 10.5in length and 3/8 steel ball. I've never shot TTF before and never managed even 2 back to back on that target and I shoot my torque every day. I think I found my future competition slingshot. HIGHLY recommend!
My only complaint is that I would much prefer those bands to come with the slingshot rather than the big heavy bands. Can barely hit a 1.5ft target with those things and only if I'm aiming somewhere else entirely 😅
I love the palm swell and even have the weight but turns out I like using my pinky for just that bit of stability.

This looks cool :) I have a Scout with the FlipClip X. I like the look and size, but I sure can't aim it accurately. I keep practicing though!
Most people's favorite color is blue. Why they don't offer at least one shade of blue in these is strange, after all, it's in their logo. Their sales of these would increase too. 💭 ( A deep terquise blue frame with black scales to match the band color would be 👌! Hope you read ur comments SS.)

I just ordered the scout lt. I'm very excited, another obsessive hobby I can dive into! I ordered a couple extra sets of bands from simple shot set for 7/16 steel ball. I was wondering what bands come with with scout lt?

Another excellent instructional video. Question: Why important to attach lanyard? Also, looks like Phillips head fasteners on clamps would help with centering and holding screwdriver.
If the screws are 1/4 20. ..go to the hardware store and get phillips head

I've decided on the Scout...was the xt but going to go with the LT. Like the Pro, especially the cranberry color, but for over twice the price for metal and a cheap box Not worth it...bummer. now just trying to decide on color. huh

Great question.
While a philips is far better for control, the slot is large enough to be worked with a coin, washer, the back of your knife, etc. It's strictly to be as tool-less as possible!

I live in the UK and wanted one of these but the store here doesn't sell the weight or spare clips. Seems silly just to sell the slingshot.

What's the advantages of over or threw the forks? I know it's what ever you like but I'm sure there are advantages and disadvantages
Probably the most "popular" reason is the sighting down the band. Some like to sight down the width of the band and some sight down the edge. OTT gives you a very thin sight down the band. TTF gives you a much wider sight.
Also, TTF generally brings the shot closer to your hand.

Can I attach 23mm bands to the frame if fork tip only 20mm wide?
Did you forget about the weight for the handle or is it not included?
The Handle Weight is an optional part like the Thumb Screws.

Only with one piece of band on the fork?
The results for accuracy would not be good. It would be impossible to get the ammo in the exact same spot each time as well as the exact same stretch around it.

Ok,why do you use two types of screws? Meaning philips head and flat? Why not both one or the other then you only need one tool to service?
We're hoping that once your scales are on, they're on. Philips works much better for this little screw.
But the FlipClips use a large flat head so you can use a washer, coin, knife, etc. You should only need one tool to service. Swapping swells is just a cosmetic change. :)

A Phillps Head 1/4 x 20unc should have been used instead of slot screws.
A slot was specifically chosen because who carries around a Philips driver? But the slot is easily turned by all sorts of things, for example, a coin, the back of a pocket knife blade, a washer, or any other thin flat thing you can think of!
