@@luqhakim5711 Maleficent in CoM on GBA legit made me throw my GBA as a kid and nearly break it. Maleficent in KH1 didn't give me that much trouble at all playing it as an adult. Dark Riku made for a few deaths, but honestly that was expected. Now, EVERY SINGLE ANSEM FIGHT, on the other hand... jesus CHRIST the amount of hours I wasted.
I don't know... it IS possible to bypass the vines section thanks to the gummi ship... though it is unlikely for a new player to think of it without first trying (and failing) the vines section at least once.
As a middle school kid playing KH1 I vividly remember: It was my first JRPG, becoming DEEPLY attached to the characters because I didn't have many friends in real life, loving every bit of the experience, having THIS be my introduction to Final Fantasy characters (yes I know...but I didn't play their games before this), getting lost for multiple real-world hours in multiple worlds (Deep Jungle, Atlantica, Wonderland, Monstro), having Beast hard carry me through Hollow Bastion like I was a baby while that world music just.....kept......playing......, getting stomped by Cerberus, Dark Riku, and Ansem 2nd Phase (BIlly Zane IS my Ansem VO no disputing it ), and falling in love with the series and still loving it as a 29 year old adult today. Good times. Also, playing as a kid is more enjoyable since Disney was still bangin' back then.
GOD the Deep Jungle one got me lmao. That was always the world that stalled me when I was a kid until I managed to make it out by dumb luck when I was like 12 a decade after the game came out lmao
