Very informative videos good job and shame on on these idiots criticising they all are ripping off mechanics big shame on you guys putting negative comments on this guy
Yes - that's the only differemce, have just done my Auris 2015 and this guide has been very helpful. its a metal bracket that is set to contact the disc at 2mm, mine were 5mm.
Why you didn't clean your pins? Usually when they're stuck that means inside is condense (water) what makes the pins and the housing rusty and thats the reason why they don't move smooth freely.. You should take them down and replace them.. They're few bucks.. Or clean them really good, put some new grease on and they'll be fine if there wasn't too much rust what make the surface more rough (as a sand paper) the metal should be smooth..

Thanks for the video! Are there any hybrid specific things you need to do when changing brakes?
You need to calibrate if you have problems if no problems l would say leave it. Only do when changing caliper.
@@DiyMechanics thanks! what exactly would be calibrated? planning to change discs and pads on my auris hybrid from 2013
@silvie4518 if changing discs and pads change it as normal no need to worry
@@DiyMechanics great, thank you!

Hey, thanks for the great video. Just wondering, did you unscrew the master cylinder cap before starting the job?
