Thanks. I have an echeveria Lola I dropped on its head and the head broke off so The head and stump is ok, but I have many petals. I read they are stubborn to propagate. I’ll give this a try. 👍🏼
Hi. Is the same procedure for cutting ? With the root boster isn't necessary wait till it's callus ? It mean, you can plant and water immediately? Sorry for my English, it isn't perfect.
Hi Margi, thanks for watching. Yes, liquid hormone works the same and it also works on snake plant. I have a video that I cut a single leaf of snake plant into multiple slices and propagated them, I have a new video, hope you watch it too!
My leaves are all calluses over already, can i do something about to use the hormone? Maybe cut a tiny slit to open a wound and allow the hormone inside... would it work?
Is there any reason why some leaves put out only roots with pups? Or will they? Is there any reason to this phenomenon? Really nice video Thank you for the clear explanation as well.
@@wolfwissam4331 for sure it will grow roots. Some grow pups first then roots. While others grow roots first. They need light and moisture to encourage growth though
Did you watch the video? The leaves with hormone grew pups quickly while the other without grew none after many weeks. You don't have to use it but it takes longer if you don't.

Did you wait till leaves are callus , or immediately add rooting hormone ?
immediately add rooting hormone
Very good experiment! Based on what you did, looks like the rooting hormone worked. 👍🏼 I enjoyed this one. 😃
Thanks for watching! And thanks for taking time to comment :)
I love and crazy about succulents.
Great video! I’ll try this w/rooting hormone tomorrow
So what do I do with the leaves that just root?
@@pinkvibes777 wait a little longer like 4 to 6 weeks they'll grow both roots and leaves :)
Did you let them calus over before putting on the mixture?
No, I did not. I just put them directly :)

If its a clean cut of leaves, you can plant it directly as long as the soil is totally dry
My leaves already have roots, could i still use rooting hormone on them?
Yes, you can still use to grow more roots
Hello. Thanks for you video. Would a liquid Hormone work the same. Also could you use this method with the snake plant if you cut one leaf into many.

I just placed them on top of the soil without drying them. Thanks for watching!
wow! good job
My leaves are all calluses over already, can i do something about to use the hormone? Maybe cut a tiny slit to open a wound and allow the hormone inside... would it work?
Its ok to put rooting hormone even if they are all callused. It still works for me :) thanks for watching!

For propagation, i keep them moist
Who’s your seller in Shoppee please!..for the rooting powder..
Sorry I forgot the seller name. But you can search for the rooting hormone there :) thanks for watching!
What to use for potting medis ?
I use 2 parts soil 3 parts pumice

Hi did you let the leaves callus before applying the rooting hormone
I applied it immediately without callusing tje leaves
Every time I try to proprigates a succlent it turns black .and some of them remain healthy but with no roots 🥲
Please give a little more time, it will grow roots soon. Mostly a month or so

Hahahah!
Number 3 on the rooting growth didn’t have any roots or any pups… nice try though
Rooting hormone seems unnecessary for succulents

@@Mandy7D7 xacto, to me that means unnecessary
Is it worth it?
No. Not in that case.
