@dewartt69 There is no point in reving it higher than 9,000 as the power is starting to drop off after that. We use a modified cam but the stock valves and so far it seems to be very reliable.
On the long straight I could not tell whether the bike could not pull the gearing or you were at the rev limiter and could not go any faster. Sorry about the crash.
Spa is super fast with long straights, the one after Eau Rouge is slightly up hill to the end and that doesn't help but the 450 with only 58bhp was a little out of its depth. There comes a point where if you change the gearing too much it simply can't pull the revs.
For people who don't know who Mike Edwards is. He can ride anything and in the past HAS ridden just about everything. Another great vid!
:O a clear, sunny day at Spa? Things i thought i'd never see!! lol
Great stuff Mike, well done!
What kinda speed were you topping out at? Looks like great fun. Better than riding in the wet huh?!
Great stuff.

which is it 190 km/h (118 mph) or your other stated number, 145 mph (233 km/h)? The numbers conflict.
rev limit is 11,500
probably about 145mph - not bad for a converted moto X bike.
probably about 190km/hr
