      I had a hornet as a child and put anti-sway bars on that. I went on to be a licensed mechanic.

    This not about swaybar.
    This is about doing hobby together with friend or brother 👍🏻
    Great video.

      We have left sway bars on our trucks - think it makes them a bit more - really depends where you run them - we prefer loose dust - higher grip then would be better to run harder ones

    Depend of usage. For small 1/8 track for example are way more important wheels and not default oil in differentials. Im now in refill process. Stock 50K/20M/50K im changing to 20/20/10K. Of course with race truggy wheels and faster servo. Sway bars are still nice to have. There are more important upgrades. For Bash, there can Sledge be in stock setup. It does not matter. I have Sledge over year and im full of bashing and want to change it hobby race truggy. It can not replace profi truggy, but it can be close. Also want to have more cars available when broke something for not leaving track :-) Thanks for nice video.

    Red Car's throttel control was the issue here. The Red's steeering control (in my opinion) was better than the blue car's. Great Video! Thank you!

      It's a good tuning aid. Let us know if the drop links are a really tight fit like they were in our trucks.

      @@TeamRC3D the front was not bad but the back was really really tight like it took me over 30 minutes to get the back in. I also got the mx 38 belted proline tires for the sledge. It’s a lot different driving to get used to but I like them. I know you had them in one of your videos too.

    Now, the only "upgrades" missing (ie. not yet available) are the wheelie bars, and the M2C Racing 7075 chassis w/ redesigned motor mount. Already have (as far as I'm aware) all other currently-available upgrades, including the carbon fiber shock towers from BasherQueen.

    • @TeamRC3D
      @TeamRC3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wheelie bars are needed.

      @@TeamRC3D Finally got around to installing most of the upgrades (although, holding off installing the sway bars until I'm also installing the M2C hardened steel lower-outer hinge pins...and, for good reason (first helpful tip coming up for those looking to install sway bars on the Sledge), which leads me to two tips - the first related to the Sledge, the second applicable to all RCs.
      Tip #1: To install the sway bars on the Sledge, it will be a LOT easier to installed the mounts into the A-arms of you first remove the A-arms from the vehicle. For those installing the 4mm hardened steel lower-outer hinge pins (the stock pins are 3.5mm), since you have to remove the A-arms from the vehicle, anyway, that is the perfect time to also install the sway bar mounts.
      Tip #2: When installing sway bars, ALWAYS revive the shocks before starting. This not only makes the sway bars easier to install, bus also allows you to properly adjust them. The reason for this is that sway bars should always be adjusted "without load". This, again, is applicable to ALL RCs that dead bars are being installed on.

    I installed mine today, only half a pack test, since it wa getting dark outside, it feel good, for me at least. I went with softest on rear and second softest front.

      They are a really tight fit just need to be eased in. They are angled so won't fit any other way

    • @TeamRC3D

      Yes, we still run them on both trucks. We prefer sharp steering, so have a soft front bar and firm rear.
