The dirt one is still crap for dirt. Any rear motor is better for dirt

Typhon 6s is my favorite. It does require smoother terrain than my Kraton 6s. Driving around on flat ground isn't really very fun to me though. I'd need some jumps in there or I'd get bored fast. Might consider some small ramps to liven it up some 👍

I wonder how the max6 g2 5690 combo would do in this. I saw the video of it in the xmaxx overheating with conservative gearing so it doesn't give me much hope 😅

What kinda of temps were you getting with that setup?

So did the motor or esc overheat? I've heard the max6 g2 isn't enough for higher gearing. Although I wouldn't have thought a 2.0 gear ratio with lightweight wheels would have caused it to overheat... Here I was planning this same combo with some heavyweight wheels... I may have to rethink things

Why does my front suspension overextend and throw the axle out of the cup?

Are the front and rear diffs exactly the same? Cause mine are out and dont know which is which!

From an engineering standpoint the front portion that bent appears much to narrow in design. It will always have a difficult time resisting the twist forces generated in a crash. The rear is much the same. As well the rear has a very tight radius in the aluminum pan where the pin is pulling out. That area of the pan is likely weak and won’t like severe side or twisting forces.

Man, I hate seeing those red lights appear on a UDR ESC! Mine did that a year and a half ago... Traxxas replaced it through Hobby Town under warranty with no hassle! I always laugh and enjoy your videos so much! You guys are very good together with these racing vids! Love the UDRs! Have yourselves a very MERRY CHRISTMAS my friends! :)

Hello, I am curious if you ever weighed the Vitavon beadlocks that were on your UDR without tires? I had seen a video of yours from 4years ago or so, in which you had questioned even adding the aluminum wheels to the UDR due to moment of inertia/weight. I would like to ask if you have experienced any abnormal drivetrain wear/issues while running the Vitavon wheels on the UDR? I was looking at the V1 wheels as I would like to continue using the original tire, mostly for scale appearance. Tho I do not want to prematurely wear the driveline or suspension components just for the look of alloy wheels. The Vitavon wheel shouldnt have that much leverage on the drivetrain as its a relatively small diameter wheel, and would be using the original tire, so no added inertia at the furthest distance from the wheel’s axis. Very curious of your findings/experience after driving it around the race track!? Thank you for your time!
