    Nick is a boss. If there were more reviews like this one I’d crack another beer. Sold! Probably going with the 304SS or Aluminized black for my 4Runner. Throwing on Icon lift next week! Whooop

    Plenty of 10 year old aluminized exhaust running around the Midwest and in the heavily salted roads of Wisconsin and Illinois. Just gotta wash your truck often and never let stuff sit on it long. But yes peace of mind is better to have when getting stainless steel

      im in canada so its 100% mandatory to have 304 stainless unless i want to buy a new exhaust every 3 years lol

    304 may be the best offered, I wish there was a titanium exhaust. Oh well I ordered my 304 system today.

    Ordered axel back for my GR 86. Came to me damaged bix, missing clamps, contacted MBRP Store, and they don't take phone calls. Sent email to them and and had to send pictures of box and contents. Still haven't received my clamps. Really poor customer service.

    I got the basic aluminized. Live in Texas. I’m sure it’s fine but if I ever change it I’m going with the lifetime warranty one

      You should be okay down in Texas with the aluminized kit but the upgrade is never a bad idea!

  • @tritonboi8131

    For the 304 Pro Series, will it show surface rust in a harsher northern climate with a ton of salt on the roads in the winter? I just pulled what I believe to be a 2004-2008 F150 MBRP Pro Series 3" Dual Rear Exit Cat-Back Exhaust Kit S5202304 off of a '06 Triton In the Junkyard yesterday. I had been familiar with the Installer and XP Series before and noticed the tips were different for the 304 Stainless Pro Series. However the kit itself is showing surface rust which has me confused why it has surface rust on it as you say in the video, 304 Stainless won't rust. Could it have been from the salt, or did someone just stick the Pro Series Tips on a XP or Installer Series?

    • @stage3motorsports
      @stage3motorsports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most likely someone switched around tip, MBRP tips are a very popular product.

    Remember of a magnet will stick to it it’s not stainless I have never found a scrapyard that will buy stainless that a magnet sticks to they always tell you i it’s tin it’s so 18 gauge stainless is what you need or don’t even do it

    Don’t buy MBRP! They will rust, not through but the bolts, nuts and brackets will! I had mine on for just over a year and those components rusted! The exhaust became loose and I was not able to tighten it due to the rust. I decided to put the stock exhaust back on. I’ll never buy another thing from MBRP again!
