Just 6.0 swapped my truck. Got a cam, long tube headers, x-pipe, true dual with two of these exact mufflers with 3 inch pipe from the headers back. Sounds absolutely wicked. I'm super happy you chose this muffler!

You’re absolutely right about those shifts bro. I loved cramming the throttle on my 2016 with cat back true duals. Something about the 6-speeds shifting into 2nd sounds heavenly 🤤 I also didn’t expect a magnaflow to sound that good. Good stuff man. I’ll probably stick with the cat back true duals but I’ll def consider this.
Lackeys is a pretty good had true duals cut out before the bed they charger 260 for straights and 6 inch tips welds are holding no exhaust hanger issue but I’ve had it done for a year now but I’m happy with it
Some of the the things I would do to that super clean truck would be. 1. A Cam 2. All new head lights tail lights and third break lights This truck is super clean and sounds really good keep of the hard work man it’s paying off.

My brother got his done at lackeys and he’s got an exhaust leak one of my buddies said that place is know for exhaust leaks and I went to Alex city mufflers and then did an amazing job and great customer service
I tell everyone to get the 14419 Magnaflow. The best sounding muffler ever. I had it on my ‘16 5.3 with headers and it was unbelievable how it sounded. After a year it’ll get a little bit louder too.

I see a happy guy in this video. The truck sounds great even though I'm a Flowmaster guy. 😊 You need to go down a hill decelerating in Tow/Haul mode. The 6L80 will rev match as it is downshifting. You'll like it.

Single 3” makes more hp and tq than duals up to a certain hp. You can look it up. Engine masters did an episode on it. I was die hard duals for years til I discovered that. Good move.
I have a 06 with the 4.3 stock manifolds and y pipe with gutted cats to single 4” straight pipe it sounds so good I know the big exhaust on that small engine prob slows it down but it just sounds so good lol
If you can find a gauge cluster that has the 321 on the bottom instead of the "m" it's a direct swap and you'll have 6 gauges instead of 4. Just need the cluster and the bezel from a higher package truck
I have a 2010 seirra 4 door with straight pipe but if you put it in 1st in manual mode then get rpm’s all the way to about 5700 to 6000 it does some insane pops it might not because the exhaust setups are different but I think it will
Shortie sounds sick, my only gripe and it’s simply an opinion is I’d have gone with dual tailpipes it just adds a balance to the truck but again just an opinion and it ain’t my truck otherwise another sick build
The exhaust doesn't scream race truck to me. Sounds good like real good but if you went equal length exhaust it would sound more corvette than old squarbody sounds if you know what I mean. Seen some other comments suggesting this also
It's hard to beat a 5.3 when it comes to sound, that probably the best I've ever heard.. be impossible to drive without putting my foot in it everywhere I went..

I'm loving this build! Just a suggestion here, would look clean if you remove the flex fuel and dealership stickers off the tailgate.
Delete all the stickers just a flat tailgate would look nice.

I have this muffler on my 2013 5.0 and I love it. Aggressive enough when you’re in it but tame when you want it to be
If you decide to change it up again. Try Y-ing it out to duals with vibrant resonators at the end with 5" tips. Be a nice deep rumble but still loud.

I had a bullet muffler with speed engineering cat less y pipe and headers on a fully built 4.8. Sounded just like yours
If you can find a gauge cluster that has the 321 on the bottom instead of the "m" it's a direct swap and you'll have 6 gauges instead of 4. Just need the cluster and the bezel from a higher package truck
The only thing this exhaust is missing is a karnage equalizer loop. Would sound insane.

Need to put a 6.2 in this truck, f35 cam, holley high ram intake, 3800 circle d triple disk converter and it’ll be a 11 second truck.
