That's a good way to do a sponsorship/affiliate video without destroying trust. Instead of saying yes to the first thing you come across, you promote the thing you've used for many years already. If I had a modern GTI and not a 2001 Cupra 1.8T then I would seriously consider this software.
Enjoy your videos and keep up the great work! I have been tuned by them for a while now and by far the best tuning company for the 1.8t and 2.0t platform! Setting some amazing times in my Alltrack because of them!
I can vouch for Malone tuning, i went to them for a STG 1 b5.5 04 Passat 4motion 1.8T wagon all the way over here in Massachusetts and it woke her up! I praise Malone even though they are on the complete opposite side of the country 😂 Great job guys!
Love my stage 2+ and DSG map on my TT, thank you Dave for the install. I have a few modified VAG cars in my yard and this tune is the best. Need to change my Malone stickers though to Tunezilla, hint, hint. LOL
This tune really kicks in the torque low in RPM. What a kick in the pants. 1st and 2nd gear is a wildly fun launch. The torque down low comes on sooner than APR, Strat, and EQT via the butt dyno. I'm not sure if it feels like the most powerful stage 2 tune but the way the torque hits is monstrous. Also, I'm really liking the TZ portal for the tuning.
I run Tunezilla 93oct stage2 on my MKIV Jetta 1.8t and love it, best money I spent on it so far as power adders are concerned. With a few supporting mods she rips for a work whip. I convinced girlfriend to get a 1.5 flash for her mk5 tdi commuter and it simply changed the car. Suddenly coming out of a corner at 60kph in 3rd/ 2000rpm meant smoke and leaving black marks on the road. Customer service has been fast when I’ve had questions. So props to a local to me company making a “Mark”.
IMPRESSIVE as HELL! These results from just a tune are crazy. I was hoping for a little ode to Winnebago Man (with appropriate bleeps to protect monetization) dropped into the video somewhere though. Lol
Sorry we didn't go into detail of what each stage, feature, turbo is required for each.. but it's all listed on their site. Of course there is no E sensor from factory so it will need to be added if you plan on running a flex fuel tune. No different than stage 3 software, you can't just run it without the supporting mods.
Great video, always great content. I am currently building an A4 B6 1.8T automatic, trying to find the right turbo for my build and a tune that will tune my ECU and TCU. Keep up the good work truly appreciate your videos, Still waiting on you turbo video look for 350-400hr out of my daily driver.
The tuning company they recommend sounds pretty good. Don’t go with Eurodyne Maestro unless you want it to take forever when doing dyno tunes. I think for your power goals a GT30 would be good but I’m not the expert here. I’m trying to figure out if I can just continue to use the stock N75 valve or if I have to upgrade to something better when running a lot of boost.

There is a difference between an E tune and flex fuel. Flex fuel means you can put whatever you want in the tank for E content and it will adjust the tune appropriately just like factory "Flex Fuel" cars. If you have a cable you can get custom tuning.

It's not sucking in hot air when the car is driving or accelerating and the air ducts point directly at the filter.
