Kevin - My '93 KE is almost running. It appears to be getting a lot of fuel on the spark plug. Runs for a second then stops, smokes a bit too. I have the newer Carb minimal external adjustments. Is my float adjustment off?? Is that why I am flooding and stalling? I cleaned the carb as you instructed. Does my float need adjusting? Thanks again for the KE 100 Videos - Extremely helpful.
hi kevin , great videos for ke100, mine is 2001, problem is petcock on bike leaked fuel into carb after i parked it, five years it sat, well, varished badly, had to soak it in gas for couple days just to get throttle barrel out, under main jet , how hard is emulsion tube to get out? kawasaki service manual say use pencil to push out, is it really that ez or am i doing something wrong. can you help, thanx
Bought a 1980 kd80, came with no carb, what replacement carb does a guy buy for it? Any ideas or links would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Awesome info!
Noticed that the bike will bog down hard if I’m going about 3 mph and try gunning it in first or second. Also sometimes I will rev the engine in neutral a few times and it will die about 10 seconds after doing that. Just replaced main jets and the float valve. Any thoughts?
I have a 83 ke100 that I just got running. I cleaned the tank, put a new petcock on it, new fuel line and cleaned the carburetor. Now for some reason I keep getting air in the fuel line I have no idea why. I can manually fill the fuel line from the tank to the carb and it will run for 2 minutes then get boggy because it ran out. I have the petcock open. Gas in the tank and the carb is clean. Any ideas of what the problem could be? Thank you nothing changes when I remove the gas cap. Thankyou

Mine's see thu n mostly empty, I'm not sure if my pump is disabled or requires bleeding, thanks!

What are your thoughts on eBay clone carbs? I just got one without thinking about it so I’m hoping you have some good to say about it. I love your videos by the way. Super helpful!
Kevin Bergeron awesome. Also, I was hoping you would know why they come with extra fittings on the clone carbs. Cause all the ones I see that are for ke100’s have two extra fittings near the fuel line. Not sure if they are some type of vacuum lines or what but Everything else about the carb is the same, except two extra fittings and only one drain on the bottom. I’m really hoping this is what it is. And once again, I do appreciate it Kevin.
I have a 1985 and I only see carburetors with the extra hose coming from the bottom, not like yours that have the two bottom pegs. Where can I find a carburetor like that/for my year?
Kevin Bergeron wish I’d known that before I bought the bike haha. The carburetor works but he said it may go out soon. I looked up the mikkuni, also hard to find, hopefully I can find one that fits
