  • This is a lithium-ion battery shredding and separation line designed for recycling the black mass from used batteries. The batteries being tested in the video are square lithium-ion batteries with iron casings.
Several key parameters come into play during the battery recycling process: material separation rates (black mass, copper, aluminum, casing, and separator paper), black mass recovery rate, and recycling capacity. In particular, the recovery rate and purity of the black mass are pivotal in determining the profitability of a recycling plant.
As a leading Chinese manufacturer of lithium-ion battery recycling equipment, we have consistently strived to enhance the recycling process. With our machines, we achieve a recovery rate of up to 98% and a purity level of up to 99%.

The black mass is a mixture of several components, such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese. It also contains graphite.

@@henanRecycle How to extract these components from black mass?

Using hydrometallurgical processes, lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese and other metals in black matter can be extracted.@@zuberriyazahmed8359
