Beautiful job, as always. Lucky for me, my son asked me just this morning to paint Wolverine so now I have some solid inspiration! I need to get better at layering my highlights and this looks like a great mini to practice that on.
While I think the modern look would have fit the rest of what you've done on this series so far a bit better, I applaud you going with the super classic scheme because we've already seen you do blue on several other minis. This gave us a look into how to do brown and leather in your style and it's lovely!
You’re so amazing! about 3-5 minutes in it looks like an unadulterated mess!!! Although we know it won’t turn out that way, it really shows how to lay down the base tones to rough it out and then progress from there!
Amazing work. I am at awe at how smooth and easy you make it look working with Scale 75 paints. I am still having issues with getting the thinning right and layers smooth and opaque.

This is the textbook definition of trust the process Also, did you think of adding blood on the claws there is a really good citadel paint with the colour and the texture.

You’ve done an amazing job here. I do have a little question. Why did you paint black first and yellow around the black? Is it not the same to paint full yellow and go over the top with black?
Thanks Neil! And good question! The reason is that if I'd made a mistake when painting the black, it's a lot easier to correct with the surrounding grey/white that it would be with the yellow (because yellow is quite translucent). Whereas if I wander on to the black with my yellow, that's a pretty easy fix :)
Love the look. Would you paint Sabretooth with the same color pallet or change it up to keep them from looking to similar? I wanted to do the 80s look myself but that has me a little conflicted.
Great job as always. I have one curiosity,: how do you get your brush working "needle like" ? I have Rosemary&Co 33 #1 and it still flex a bit, you always seems to get a perfect needle sharp tip.
Hey Gabriel! I used to use the Series 33s but switched a couple of years back to the Series 8 (size 2). I'm not especially kind to them; I just think they're phenomenal brushes 😀
Sorastro, I've noticed over the years that when you mix your paints and sometimes when you load it, you tend to get some paint in the ferrule. Do you feel this has any impact on the life span of your brushes or has it never really been a problem?

I have never magnetized a mini in my life and I'm looking at what size drill-bit and , magnet I'll need without the need to experiment on my Wolverine mini. So the dry training requires me to get a smuch knowledge as possible in size, type etc before I go and buy that stuff for one mini(or two if I decide to magnetise Thanos when I eventually get him xD).

Hi! I enjoy exploring different paint ranges, and at the moment - yes, I am trying out the Scalecolor range to see what their strengths are and how they might fit my painting style. This is the first time I've used their skin tones for example, and I'm not sure how crazy I am on the super matte finish for things like skin, although for this slightly comic-book style it's OK I guess.. :)

Hi John! I'm not the kindest to my brushes it's true, but I must say that the Rosemary & Co brushes still last me a good while! :)
