he did 770 for reps in wsm no problem so 575 is really not that impressive considering what he has already done

I swear Martin's is seriously a nice guy. He's a mix of child and adult. He isn't macho and has an ego thinking he's all tough, he is just tough and that's it. He works hard and deserves the WSM. He is a good ambassador for the sport because he is a good role model. Martins!!!

Every gym has that guy. Dude at our gym always speaks to me and my training partner when we deadlift and he is like oh I'll join you. Then at some point before it gets heavy he'll say he hasn't pulled in 6 months, obviously forgetting that he pulled with us a couple of weeks back. Ed is one of the strongest guys who has ever lift, but he'll sure add asterisks to all his lifts in training. "I haven't done it in ages".

Because of guys like Larry hall Thor Shaw posting on social media, there has definitely been a resurgence in strongman. I thought the sport was dying off when Derek poundstone, putz, Kevin nee, ortmayer, even big z savickas all retired. Great to see a comeback
My only wish left is for Shaw to get his powers back, but that ain't happening lol

Hey Martins, I saw the video on Eddie's channel and tried it out yesterday as it was my leg day. I started with front squats and when it got heavier I moved on to back squats. I didn't exactly hit a PR, as it was a weight I had done a few months back, but it definitely felt much easier and my depth was excellent! Thank you for the tip brother!

Martins is a funny guy. Also, crazy strong. He don't look like he can lift all that weight, but he's got a big motor. Proven power.
Martin's the shit I knew 2 yrs ago you would shine because of your technician like techniques on the floor . One of my favorites , so humble and funny as hell . Martin's let me lift with you sometime plz. It's amazing how much you practice to perfect every move you make from turning to dropping to picking up it just don't end you look everywhere you think you can shave Time off or do a lift more efficient that's why you win.
