I love it when a plan comes together
I have a new one in SS with the samson a team folding stock and samson hannibal rail. Although the it's really over priced, I don't regret the purchase. I love this rifle.
The barrels are better on the new Mini. The rear sight is better on the old Mini. The accuracy is better on the new Mini.
Got to get one of these new ones! Thanks Misha.
Good video, I've got one of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol guns with the M-1 carbine type stock.
These past few months seems like every time I get a new gun I get to see you make a video on it. Even crazier that I never see you do ruger videos and I just got the same a team tactical model with the Hannibal front rail
I am so glad to live in a free state Texas👍🇺🇸
Hannibal’s Favorite Rifle The AC556 😀😎👍🏼 And a Good Cigar 😀 Misha I Like The Old School Model Best 😀
In the early 90’s, I started in LE with a Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma. That was the first patrol rifle, in stainless, I was issued. They weren’t but a few years old, having recently replaced M-1 Carbines. They were always very reliable. And, they were very serviceable.
“Hi Mischa here!” - that’s all I need to hear.
I saw a Corcoran State Prison issued mini 14 at a Cabelas in Utah some years back. Always wondered how many inmates had been muzzled with that bad boy in its time of service.
Probably none. It probably spent its life in a rifle tower gun locker secured by a serialized plastic wire for decades.
@@bruceruzicka6089 I had one that definitely saw some kind of service/use as it had a lot of 'character' to the wood and metal hehe.
Misha, im in Oklahoma so I get the sticky weather reference. You post i watch. Always loved history and when it comes to firearms you're the best and most soothing to listen to.
I admire you Okie's, you get snow, tornados, hot summers, and even a few floods and you guys do not leave.
@@alexander1902 lol just too dumb to leave. Tornadoes are really common and pretty much every okie stands outside to watch them. It is a diverse state. We have plains hills a small mountain, a painted desert and a fee areas with dunes. I like it here its home.
That is one good looking rifle & I PITTY THE FOOL...
I am literally picking one up tomorrow morning. Glad you released this video. Watched several vids, yours was the only one that made me feel informed, and unbias.
Had a stainless ranch before the folder ban for three hundred and fifty new. Had to file the handguard down so the scope bell would not rub on it. I turned down the folding option at the time.
The worst is when it’s Stickly weather then comes one of those summer thunderstorms that pours freezing cold water on you and now you’re freezing
Appreciate the video Misha. I own a couple Mini-14 (newer versions) with standard stocks and really like them, they are good shooters. Something about the M-1 platform that I like.
Finally Misha reviewing a Mini 14
YES!
Man that is one rifle I wish I had.
I love the term stickly, or maybe it's stickily. It was a stickily day here in the DMV after the rain came through. Oh and by the way - this is the best mini-14 ever invented by Ruger. The factory folder, GB barrel just make this thing shine... 🙂
I can't watch this video, it makes me want to buy a Ruger A Team Mini 14! 😂 lol. I ❤ this TH-cam channel!
Mini-14 with folding metal stock. A-team standard-issued rifle.
Bayonet lugs are a big deal to me. I finally got a plain Mini-14, last year, but didn't know about the GB release until later. Darn! Oh, well.
Thinking about getting a new all black tactical
At first I thought you had a transferrable AC556 brought out and wondered how you got one, then I sadly realized it didn't have the giggle switch on the reciever.
Misha, when are you going to get a transferrable MG brought out on the channel? Maybe a classic Valmet or registered Chinese Type-56?
Great video.as usual
The ONLY Mini-14 I like is the GB variant and that’s what’s hanging on my wall. I seem to gravitate to only owning rifles that can mount a bayonet. I’m a retired Army Infantryman so maybe that’s why.
I have tried to find that folding stock for mine from the 90's. I could buy another 2024 version for that! LOL! Thanks as always for your informative videos! Now I need another Mini-14! LOL!
Made by Samson manufacturing I bought they’re Hannibal pic rail adapter also it’s sweet and accepts a lot of red dots
I NEED this
I NEED THIS GUN NOW 👌👍
If these were high polish blued with a wood stock id buy one right now.
You can buy the stock separately
Every one of the 2024 guns I've seen has buggered up stock screws, the big ol flatheads on the sides. I usually don't mind small inperfections on guns but this is just bad. It's like whoever is putting them together has a flathead way smaller than it should be to turn thode screws. Shame, the guns are so well done otherwise. I hope Ruger gives their assembly lines a proper screwdriver set. These things aren't cheap.
I am gonna get one...thanks
its always remember me John Travolta's rifle in Broken arrow
If only my mini 30 was so reliable!
My 30 works fine with brass ammo but doesn't like steel cased ammo.
Don't bother with aftermarket firing pin and spring upgrades. They still don't consistently work for berdan primers.
East Texas yes sticky is the perfect word
My mini 30 tactical is not as accurate as my SKS para, once it heats up., it’s more accurate than my 12” sbr draco . It is a much better suppressor host than any of the others with the right gas valve . I leave set up for suppressed and it’s stainless, and I live 3 blocks from the Atlantic, so that’s a plus about it . I feel like it’s 3 ish moa is good enough .
Tupac had a mini14 with the 90 round drum.
Yea here in the south it be hot. And today it gets hot. 🥵
Stick stickly attack attack is this what you mean?
Love my Mini from the late 80's. I raise chickens and the ol' Mini dispatched many a raccoon.
yeah, you should use it to dispatch yourself
I heard that youtube is pulling gun videos that review name brand weapons.
Nope
In a 308 this time around maybe !!!
Sweltering...
Now the go fast hardware could be fun till it jamed !!!
👍🏼🥃🇺🇸
Always found these ugly af. Kinda reminds me of what a 50s bubba would make if he saw a modern gun from like the 80s.
My mini 14 looks like shit with a model stock doesn't fold I think the barrels turning color from shooting it shoots good sounds like a Ruger
