On the other hand - I say Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns vs Marvelous Marvin Hagler!!! Watched their fight when I was a small kid in the Philippines - that fight was the Battle of Bad-assery! No non-sense feeling around, dancing & prancing, & probing _ these two men KNOWS who they are, and they just duked it out from Round 1! Ali vs Frazier came to Manila to fight - 'THE THRILLA IN MANILA" - but you cannot deny Hearns vs Hagler the beauty of their fight.
its hard to say the best fight of all time, i would say these were 70 and 80s fights, between the different weights, so you would have to give it to some thought, Whos was the Greatest, that goes to muammid ali. and there are 3 fights i could mention, the first would be when won the world title against sunny liston young boy back from onlympics, sunny liston was a beast, he was not expected to get past 2 maybe 3 rounds, ali shook up the world, then his fight with joe frazier, where joe could not come out for the last round, those guy beat each other up so bad, its said part of ali was left in the ring, and by his own words he was close to dying, and the 3rd would be george foreman, like rocky 3 with clubber lang, ali took every thing he had, and tired him out won in the 8th round. i could go onto other weights, marvi hagler, tommy hearns and sugar ray. these giys went to war in there divisions, then you can come to a bit more mordern times, chris eubank. and the dark destroyer he name escapes me, different times, only thing i can say, these guys didnt take easy fights, not like boxing today, they fought the best of the best
