really liked the quench put on a good show nice ingots
I’ve never had it popping before it was quite awesome up close in person 👍
Awesome brother dross you put in the bin slag you remelt. I Always smash the slag to get as much dross off as possible. Some just crumble next to nothing. Recent I have started laying it all out flat to make it easier. I seem to be putting less slag in the jar at the end. Still brother an amazing job just collecting that amount of cans omg. Looking forward to the next episode brother
I’m just going to throw it all in and melt it all and see how much I can recover from it. I must admit I’m not looking forward to that melt as I don’t think I’m going to get much from that lot but I guess every little bit go towards the stack.
Thanks mate 👍
Ace vid as usual and great to see someone in the UK doing this. I just have a couple of questions:
1) where do you get your cans from?
2) how much gas do you use in a melt of this size?
I find it really interesting and wouldn’t mind giving it a go but would like to understand costs and basics first. Ta.
Great video nice aluminum bars thanks for sharing
Thank you 👍
@@meltingipswich you're welcome
It bubbled up again! It did that in the last video too. Wait. This is the one from the last video. I may be an idiot. Nice melt.
No. I think your right looking back on things it’s normally one of them that do it very often. It was suggested to me to mark this ingot next time it do it and see if it’s the same one each time.
Thank you 👍
Only 2 mins in that looks like 10.00 Saturday morning the only morning sun of the week.
You have to get out there when you can with our lovely English weather 🌦️
Hi im new to your channel and yes I subscribed just wanted to say cool ,melt theres another You tuber i watch called Bigstacked he is a Aussie and he has a cool can smasher he uses for smashing cans its made of 2X4s and a 12V motor it works great he even melted the pull tabs too keep melting and ill keep watching
Thank you I’m keeping the pull tabs for a different melt I have a bucket full of them. Thank you subscribing your just in time because I do a giveaway for every 500 subscribers and the next give away is 3,500. Thank you for watching 👍
Lovely ingots bro👍
Thank you
Be careful my friend, if it was any other metal, even a drop of water vapor could cause a serious explosion.
I know. I do warm the moulds up but I obviously didn’t warm them up enough
STILL SAY ADD SALT NICE ONE👍
I will try it on the next can melt
You will probably get one maybe two more ingots when you remelt the slag
Yeah I’m guessing I’ll be lucky to get that but I just want to see how much I get from it as I know I would get questions like that and people would want to know
