Good strategy, I have been working on soloing this map with Gestalt and I haven't been able to do it yet. Well done.
Get the 1st tier 3 weapon on marine. You can solo the entire map with a single marine squad with it.
Get the upgrade that doubles marine hp as well. They’re in engineering bay and it’s actually the first upgrade you want. It doubles hp and allow them to blink.
