- We all know what massage oils are, but what about body oil or bath oil? Well, they are all in fact the same magical oil, and we're going to show you how to blend your own!
You will simply need 3 things; a good carrier oil, some essential oils and a glass bottle with a tight fitting lid. Now you're ready!

I use sweet
100mls sweet almond oil
2mls Vit E Oil
2ml Glycerin
40mls essential oil.
Another tip is if your on Antidepressants not to uses essential oil or blend containing Grapefruit as it interacts with the serotonin levels in the brain and can have nasty side effects
That is an extremely high amount of Essential Oil in your blend. You should really reduce that to 4-6ml of EO in your carrier blend. Good Luck!

Can u use olive oil as a carrier oil.?
You can. Although it's really not the best. It can be quite sticky on the skin.
Can I use perfume instead of essential oils
Hi Rebecca. This recipe uses essential oils because they are pure and have a therapeutic value to the mind and body. If you used a fragrance oil, it would only be for a smell you liked and would have no added therapeutic value. I don't have any experience with fragrance oils, but I'm sure you can find some on the web. Good Luck.

Thanx for sharing this info,..Please ..We have a question..So we saw that we can use grapeseed oil for carrier oil , or sweet almond..My question is :can we mix grapesweed oil with almond oil ,like 50-50 or somethong like that,or even add coconot oil..so we make a base from 3 oils..almond,coconut and grape seed..Do u think is ok..or we should use just one?please if u can give me an advice.Many thanx..Wish u well

We get lots of questions about using essential oils on or near pets. Because they are often small animals, they don't need very much essential oil at all.

Can I use Johnson's baby oil as a carrier oil.
No pls ..baby oils are not carrier oils
No, Johnson's baby oil is mineral oil and petroleum based. This should really not be used on the body. Find a natural carrier oil at any local health store.
