    Many times genius is hailed from the rooftops, other times less so. This gentleman Rob Watts is a genius. For a while I’ve had a 10k system that I considered the bees knees. Two days ago I began home trialing the Chord Hugo TT2. I bought it today. Oh my goodness everything has changed. On my existing setup two thirds of what I played sounded awesome, now everything sounds awesome and I mean everything. The M Scaler will have to wait until next year. I struggle to see how my sound with the TT2. can be bettered but I thought I was at an insurmountable place to begin with.

      ...and then you went to heaven and back to enjoy the Chord Hugo a little more, right?

    Chord are quintessentially English quirky in design and utterly compelling in digitally audio reproduction , reminiscent of the original QUAD mantra , closer to the original sound . Falling in love with aluminium boxes that contain magical internals has never felt more natural .

    Rob is a genius, I've never enjoyed my digital music the way I enjoy it now, I have tried his Qutest, TT 2 and the DAVE in my system. Amazing stuff.

    Just bought the Chord Qutest after a demo at Canterbury HiFi which was astonishingly impressive. Bought it on the spot and couldn't be happier, well, maybe I could if I added the Hugo M Scaler!

    Sell the British pound ~ love it I have herd the Hugo TT and I had to ask the question to the Hifi dealer is vinyl dead now as the natural harmonics of the sound and that digititis element on the whole was gone ~ The Hifi dealer said it would certainly make someone think twice before starting a vinyl collection and buying a Mitchell/orb /similar deck...... For me that was turning point that digital sound is becoming better Chord probably leading the field.

    Sir Rob Watts telling us we can hear frequencies up to 20Khz, but more than that.
    We can here multi sources timing incidents up to 4 micro-second at least : that's 250 Khz.
    That is not we hear 250 Khz as a frequency : but a 4 micro-second incident in sound timing will have an impact in 3D perception, 3D localisation, timber characteristics.
    Something like that. Yep that's HD sound : almost real.

    Well ,, that went straight over my head.🤔 how do you learn this stuff .

    • @PursuitPerfectSystem
      @PursuitPerfectSystem  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      watch it multiple times - the more times you watch the more you learn. Coming from someone who has watched it about 5 times in the editing process ;)

    It's a pain to buy Chord products. There is a few dealers and all of them that small, they do not accept Amex. On top of that, most of them require in-store purchase. Chord, you have a Sales director, what does he do then?

      @@PursuitPerfectSystem that's what makes my previous message intriguing - I'm in London, Chord's home market.

      wow I thought you might say somewhere remote. If you speak to Nintronics they are in Hertfordshire not far they sell them all I dont know what credit cards they take though ask them :)

    • @demokraken
      @demokraken 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PursuitPerfectSystem Thank you. Already checked, no Amex support. Only PayPal, and this is different PayPal-Amex story... For a product with a £4K+ price tag I prefer to use a decent credit card, but in Chord nobody bothers to enable that.

    • @PursuitPerfectSystem
      @PursuitPerfectSystem  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@demokraken have you called them and asked them? why not add the amex to your PayPal account and then you have double security?

      Michel that is a very ignorant comment on what is a important and interesting lesson in DAC design. I don't understand why you would make that comment?
