Definitely one of my favorite bass lines! Been jamming to this since it came out.
In this cover I'm using one of my new bass guitars - Sterling by Music Man Stingray Short Scale.

I have taken the bass back up again at 35, having not played for over 10 years. Life got in the way unfortunately. Completely inspired by Julia and I also bought a sterling stingray! I wonder how many basses they've sold because of her!

When I first heard her Forget Me Nots cover 2 years ago her channel had like 5 million views. Now 2 years and many more videos later she has 26 million views. You can see from the comments how good she makes eveyone feel- all without ever speaking a word on camera.

Just found out Sterling got those two new basses to you. Now that is ultra cool. Good job Sterling. You earned them Julia. They have undoubtedly sold quite a few basses off this channel, not to mention got their name in front of MILLIONs of music lovers/players. If I was in the market for another bass, no doubt about it, it would be a mm SUB ray4, entirely due to this channel. Absolute killer tone -especially when you groove it..

Yo the Ray4 is a tenth of the price of a real Stingray but it's basically the same thing in terms of sound and tone. Absolutely killer basses and I love mine to death :D

For all the people suggesting this or that bass manufacturer sponsoring her, and more power to her getting her Stingray guitar rack filled up, the company that should be putting her face in a magazine advertisement is ZOOM.
She doesn't show off the hardware, but that and the bass her brother gave her are the only hardware tools she uses to share the fruits of her hours of practice and her love for good bass music, her ZOOM b3.
I have been waiting with baited breath for every vid she posts since September '19 and like many other people have picked up the 4 string after years of not having one, but only this week have bothered to look up what a ZOOM b3 even is. The SUB and b3 are the demonstrations that tons of money thrown into a rig aren't what makes producing good music or vids. Rather, simple tools combined with: the earnest love of music, diligent practice, and imo lastly talent are what brought this wonderful music to us.

Never overpowering with flash, but demonstrating complete authority over the groove by enhancing it. Take it from an elder musician who was there when funk first hit the airwaves, welcome, take your place.
The run Julia does at the end of this song marks the point where I stopped rewatching parts because they're fantastic and started rewatching because I actually don't understand how she fit that in there.
