Nice will try this. My former brother in law used to grind and season mix and them stuff into 4" pvc and freeze. Then the next day pull it out of the freezer, run sot hot water over the tube, push out the meat mix and slice on a slicer and dry. He would end up with perfect rounds. Your method looks much easier.
i use the backwoods brand-- usually the hickory. i also do the cookie sheet method in the oven. what i wind up with is a cookie sheet size patty that at the half way point gets cut.
