    Went to Dublin to see my team beat what i thought would be a pub-team back in 2019. This result would not have shocked my back then. Yes our team was really bad that season, but i never thought we would actually lose against Shamarock. Been casually following the league since, most trough this vlog. Sad to se a poor result on Tallaghat. Best wishes for the return game!

Håper vi klarer et gruppespill i år, men det ser ikke lovende ut. Vi må hente noen solide spillere for å klare et gruppespill. Ber til høyere makter om et gruppespill

    I said Rovers needed at least 3 signings to compete in Europe wasn't wrong probably 4-5...You can't make 3.3 million last year and pick up shite ..There is no pace or proper ballers in there, McCann influence was a big help last year in Europe...Rovers were bullied all night...

    Changes needed especially more bite in midfield. Lee Grace was doing well there before he got injured. Also we need goals. Gaffney and Green have combined very well together. Time for Manus to return 🍀

    I don't get the attitude of fans who hate the teams who qualify in the competitions, having our teams do well in Europe only helps the league in the long run, I hope they all go as far as they can

    • @manicmonday2468
      @manicmonday2468 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya that's all great, the good will and everything...but why would I want to see those teams pick up tons of cash beating crap teams in Europe creating a two tier league...Screw that!! if a portion of the prize money was shared ya I'd be for it... hopefully they all go out, and it's more of a level playing field financially next season..It's time this league was invested in properly not relying on winning a few qualifying rounds of the conference league to survive..

    I’m struggling to see why Dylan watts plays in these games, he doesn’t have the right attributes for these types of games, I was hoping to see him come off for Burke at half time but didn’t happen till later on which was a little late imo. Kenny and towel bring pace and hunt the ball Down exactly what we needed from the start or at the half time break at least. I understand injuries and having other competition including our bread and butter (league) to get back in but feel like we are missing something or are not using what we have correctly.

    Very disappointing from Rovers but not that surprising. Ithink we've been poor for a lot of the season and the last three games we've been dreadful. Some of players are overhyped like Richie Towell he has done nothing this season. Bradley will have to take the criticism. I'm more interested in winning the league but we'll be doing well to do that now.

      They have yet to make the break through yes, but they have been knocking on the door .
      Like us, they are summer football, so are match fit .

    Seems every other countries teams have progressed in europe but Irish teams have gone backwards or stood still. Say the Irish league teams in comparison may go further in European football to the southern teams looks a real possibility. If the rest of the southern teams in European football cant improve maybe its time to stop sending teams to play in europe.

    • @PhilipGMaguire
      @PhilipGMaguire ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What are you on about? Shocking take. Irish teams have qualified for the group stages 3 times in the last 7 years. If you take away the large sums clubs get from europe every year then this league will fall even further behind. Headcase

    • @NikCan66
      @NikCan66 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PhilipGMaguire Money invested hasn't gone far enough or properly spent . Look at the population of Iceland 🇮🇸 compared to Ireland and by the 5 million to 372,000 Icelandic. By the law of averages we should have a higher technical team in operation with having a larger playing base to choose from. It will be interesting to compare how far the Irish league teams advance in Europe as there only in pre season. Well 3 teams in the last 7 years isn't something to write home about. I am a Shamrock Rovers supporter since Milltown and the same false downs by multiple teams in the league of Ireland haven't got near qualifying for the champions league itself and the 15 million euro qualifying fee that teams receive excluding TV, Match Tickets and other items like jerseys , scarfs etc . Other teams not as long in existence like Latvian, Lithuania and Estonian club sides have a higher co efficient rating compared to League of Ireland clubs. Luxembourg teams with an even smaller player base than Ireland are higher in European football. Only headcase is you that can't see the utter failure of leadership in the league itself and devoid of how to improve the league as the players fitness, strength and conditioning, speed of movement and execution of passing were lacking tonight. I don't expect that I'm sad to say Derry, St Patrick's, Dundalk will fare any better.
