I'm from Ireland. I have lived in Birmingham for nearly 20 years now. It gives me great pleasure to see that Irish football is seeing much bigger crowds, better fans facilities, and an improved standard. The Bohemians stadium, when complete, will be an excellent addition to the city.

Yeah they have started demolition works already as you can see the away end is much smaller the back terrace has been removed, the roof removed and 400 seats removed. 4 months later the Connacht stand which had 2,800 seats closed for the 2011 season and they have started demolition works on this stand. All seats have been removed and they are currently demolishing the concrete structure.

8:27 I'm guessing that, by the end of the night, you'd figured out where all those Gardai were going to.
It's been said that the Bohs v Rovers fixture (attendance 3,000-7,000) requires more Gardai than an All-Ireland Final (attendance 82,000).

I'm glad YT suggested me this clip. Very interesting and entertaining, also all the things you could do in Dublin. And in the stadium that looks like pure football, as we are missing it in some leagues. We here are looking forward to next Saturday evening, when my club could come back into Bundesliga in front of 62.271 in the stadium at Schalke 04 (:-)

Shelbourne and St Pat's games full of energy too. Some cracking chants too especially Bohs v St Pat's. Bohs chant "Oh Inchicore (oh Inchicore) is full of smack (is full of smack) Oh Inchicore is full of smack. It's full of smack, smack and more smack"😅. The funny thing is St Pats like it so much they chant it themselves at various games 🤣.

Bohemians have really been terrible! The Bohemians Football Board have utterly failed to maintain Dalymount Park which used to house 40,000 plus fans for Ireland games in the 1950s 1960s up to the mid 1970s. Like Shels, Pat's College and Shams, football in Dublin has only a NICHE following of 2,000
on average for the 5 Dublin clubs. Football is tiny in Dublin and overall in Ireland.
Rugby Union is by far the Biggest PROFESSIONAL Sport in Ireland while Gaelic Football and Hurling while big sports are strictly Amateur and Ireland only sports .

Rugby is the only professional sport in ireland and football soccer is only semipro at best ,however rugby at grass roots is by far the weakest sport of the top 4 sports, they are more GAA clubs in cork then Rugby in the whole of ireland.Football is not tiny in dublin its the most popular ,GAA or Rugby wouldn't be bigger than football they get bigger crowds alright but that has a lot to with the population they represent 1.5 for GAA and nearly 3million for leinster rugby whereas dublin is split between 4 clubs and even without PL competition they still would have a much less of a draw than GAA and rugby
