Thanks as always to everyone for the very kind comments . I'm very humbled that so many enjoy listening to me bang on about these old cars and my fun and games with them . Adam seems to have a great following of true car enthusiasts who share our passion for the older classics and can relate to us and what we do , its also great to hear comments from those younger viewers ( inc the ladies ) who have never had the chance to own these great cars but still love to hear about them . Until then next one , stay safe and thanks again for your support and comments .
@@jordan-mcc Its a car i bought about 10 years ago to rebuild and put a blown v8 back in , but sold it due to lack of space and time . It turned up on ebay again about 6 months ago in the exact state i sold it so i bought it back , But again ill struggle to find the time so its for sale as is .
Paul sounds like a guy who looks after everyone else but never gets round to treating himself, good to hear him fair excited about what he’s got planned
How good is it to hear Paul speak so honestly about these cars. I met him over 15yrs ago via a mutual friend and his knowledge was great then can’t imagine what it’s like now. Superb Would love to see what happens with it. Keep up the interesting videos. Love watching them.
Im constantly stunned at the amount of people out there like myself that still find early fords as exciting as I do I’ve often told my wife if we won the lottery just fill the garage full of ok mk1 mk2 escort and a view rs500 and a bed and I’ll be happy
Top fella is Paul, remember talking to him on the pit wall at rs national day a good few years back now , sharing our love for the rs500 touring cars. Proper down to earth fella His knowledge of these cars is unquestionable.
I bet the first thing Paul does when restoring these is fuel pressure regulator and piping! Excellent advice to anyone buying one of these for peace of mind!
Can you imagine the lady that owned that car from new , I bet she sure enjoyed herself. Mavis im going to buy a new car ,Rita are you getting a fiesta popular plus no mavis im getting a cossie 🤪👍 rita you dirty girl😜
When I was a kid this was my dream car..years later still is..love it..always said one day I'd have one never happened though suppose we can all dream..great content Adam as usual keep up your great work
Hi Adam & Paul, lovely genuine, used Cosworth Sierra, now there's a rare sight on the roads eh guy's. Love your plan Paul, get out in it, drive it, use it, the mileage is immeterial. Then (and you know you will) strip it and concours it and show us all. Great video, as always thanks to both of you. Cheers, Alex. Ps, how rare is that RS500 in Moonstone..52 cars is just mad..!!
So glad you decided to show this video Adam 👍🏻👍🏻... please please 🙏🏻when Paul does decided to completely rebuild it, could you Adam do a detailed/step by step video “documentary”....would be honestly so interesting to see. Like project binky style 😎🙂.
"I can go to Scarborough for a day out and have an ice cream and not be worried about someone opening the door on the car" 🤣 I won't spit my dummy out 😭😭😭 Paul is a legend!
Very nice. I had a new moonstone blue XR4x4 in the day and it was the best colour we ever had. Me and the wife still miss it ! Great episode, keep them coming!👍🇬🇧😊
i can listen to the two of you talk about cosworth's all day Adam you struck gold becoming friends with Paul and us lot are the richer for it.The car looks mint to me though Mr cosworth and now yourself know different.Love the vlogs keep them coming.
I just subscribed to Adam, I like his passion for Cosworths and entertaining content. I’m an Aussie and lived in UK Newcastle during the 90s and Cosworths where the car to own ! I raced one in my Cavilier Sri 130 and got wasted man !!
Nice one Adam love all the videos you do mate, but the video's with Paul are always a bit special arnt they, I always learn something completely new its great, like I knew they didn't make many in moonstone blue but dint realise only made 52 that's nothing really is it,I would think that must make them far more valuable than white or black models, be interesting to find out coz outta that 52 gotta be less than half of em still in existence, top work again Adam cheers mate 👌👍👍
Ha! I raced local legend Steve Cram in his moonstone back in the day, I was in my RS2000, neck and neck until we got onto the A696 towards the airport, he sailed away as 120 was the absolute max for the Mk2 with A LOT of mods
nice one mate 🤣👍, I do love an rs2000, do you remember Paul Baileys home built mk2 with the rs500 in it? the first conversion of it's kind wasn't it, a real sleeper in road going form! a dream car of mine!
Great video Adam...love listening to Paul he knows his banana's and he has a pride and passion in what he does...seems a very genuine guy...more videos from Paul please
have any of you chaps seen or heard of Magnus Walker? the Sheffield lad who moved to the states as a young man and ended up staying there and becoming an absolute porsche guru? He really reminds me of Paul with his knowledge and lifelong passion for his craft. Walker builds and restores old porkers and isnt afraid to shun convention by ratting and hot rodding stuff that people consider too nice to tinker with, survivor cars that can be used and abused and enjoyed guilt free rather than outright concourse examples which belong in glass cases. I suppose there is a balanced argument for both approaches 👍👍
Lovely useable car Paul will have that mibt in no timw seeing the blue sticker in the window brings bach memories its a VSIB alarm sticker i think it was i used to fit alsorts of security to these back in the day and sound systems savage thinking back used to cut door panels feel guilty about it now but you did what the customer wanted Paula the master could listen all day top video
Definitely understand Pauls internal fight between a fully minted restored car and this useable clean version.....mr rs500 cant just lock them away work on them and never get out drive one so hopefully the barexshell resto can wait a while.....
My 2wd Sapphire Cosworth was moonstone blue, and my 3 door was black and always remember seeing the car that was mag featured ELE and wished my 3 door was moonstone too after that. If there was ever a surer thing that is getting fully restored 😆
Really glad you decided to put the video on Adam. It’s so good to see a used RS500 that’s not an ornament or show car. Do you know how many RS500’s are left?
Brilliant keep up the good work adam and paul. It would be interesting to know how many left there location witch ones are missing witch have been scrapped that could be a good video for you and paul.
Hi again what can say the master he noes is stuff Very very interesting man could listen to him all day can not weight if he has a open day the main man keep them coming great video top man thank you for the video godbless you and keep both safe

Even though these cars are a bit out of my budget, it warms my heart to see many are still preserved and most importantly enjoyed
