Pauls very thorough he even gives the car a cat scan as part of the service.
265k car and a cat that jumps all over it 😂🤦♂️
4m39 the cat jumped on it 🙄
I hate it when the neighbours cat jumps on my 250k miler Passat never mind a £265k RS500
He says original exhaust but looking at the service book he points out it had a new exhaust...
I was going to say the same thing but the stickers under the boot carpet are probably worth more than the exhaust to the buyer 😂
Nice car but it’s just an old Sierra people! Come on £265k! Worlds gone absolutely mad. It’s even got a flat battery FFS, but will stick 12 months MOT on it before it goes, yea, thanks for that.
Exactly, they are not even that good. Get smoked by any little off the shelf hot hatch these days. And for the money you can buy a 911 GT3RS and STILL have enough for an M3 Daily, both of which will humiliate this thing on the road or round a track.
@@stewills9711that’s not what it’s about though is it, I mean when these was built it would of kicked the arse out of something that was 38 years old back then 😂 it’s nostalgia and 80’s styling and the whole experience of owning one..still good for 800hp if you want to throw some cash at it and ruin its originality
@@markyates9349 oh i know what youre saying, but the money is stupid. No amount on nostalgia, 80s styling or leaking oil is worth anywhere near 260k 😂
40-50 yeah fair enough just because its pristine.
Anyone who buys it, just gonna put it in a bubble anyway, so its a pointless car now, never gonna see the light of day 🤷♂️
@@stewills9711it's worth what the market says it's worth not what you think it's worth.
@@stewills9711 I also couldn’t spend that money to just let it sit as an ornament 😂
Every new video that is coming from within the workshop of Paul I have the idea the Snap on wall is getting bigger and bigger !
instead of looking at the sierra im looking at the roller cabs again wondering if he has had them ppf'd lol come on Paul a toolbox tour is so needed to put my thoughts to rest ❤ another great video btw cant not click on your videos Adam especially where Paul has a part ❤
Another great video. Any chance of doing a vid on the Rouse saph?
so how do get to the 1st floor of the toolbox, don’t tell me - you need the optional snapon escalator 😅
Ever heard or seen someone using stepladders or did that one pass you by.
Another cracking video adam hope your OK pal.
There will be a fair few Lotto tickets bought after watching this video..
Thank you for sharing this video adam. Couple of rare finds in the superb condition they are in..
Thanks too main sponsor "Snap on" could live in that thing... 😂😂
Im just looking at the snap on tool wall 😂 bet the cost of that lot is more than the cossies are worth 😂
For a serious kit like that ya talking £25k ish for the cabinets and maybe another £50k to fill it.
I was looking at the shiny white Snap on draws thinking. Of my. I want that. And I'm 47. Men are just kids with more expensive toys
I never appreciated the rs500 until I came across you and Paul I was always a sapphire lover but what I’d give to own one now
Love the original Ford dealer sticker Premier Motors Isle of Wight, worked for them back in the day.
When's Paul gonna give us a tool box tour?
It's that silent it dont even start 😂
Straight out of the box. 👌👌
That toolbox actually looks photoshopped!😂😂😂 Another cracking video mate. Please do a little update on his you're doing. There'll be plenty of folk just wanting to know things are ok your end. 👍
Great video/ content 👊
I absolutely love moonstone blue, had a black 3 door and always wanted a moonstone car.
Superb stunning example,cheers chaps 👍😉💪
Absolutely stunning car, I do like these in white. If I win the Euros I might be in with a chance 🙂
I wonder how safe is it to drive on the original tyres which are what 36 years old? I take it whoever buys this won't be driving it on the road anyway. Stunning car.
I was just about to comment £260k car with one of those shit ‘lion’ batteries on it when Paul said battery was flat😂😂, nice car and interesting video 👍
I’ve seen the boxes for sale but seeing that wall of boxes I can’t see the use of the above head height drawers. The Sierra is split mint
The snap on toolboxes never cease to amaze me, the cossies are cool too 😅
265k
I can't say no more
And a free mot
Paul I love you like a brother but wow
Can we hear it paul..ah no the batteries flat that's another 10k for a battery
Hold the front page its got fog lights...285k
Stunning original rs500 it's a pity the new owner won't be able to really use it cos as the mileage goes up the value comes down ☹️
Are the shocks not uprated? Maybe an oversite on the video.looks amazing all the same 👍
Another super video 👍🇦🇺
Can we have a toolbox tour Paul I've got a spare week to watch it 🤣🤣👍👍
Beautiful car 👍
Just curious but any knowledge on the first owners name?
Another beautiful RS500. Thanks Adam and Paul
What a beautiful example in my fav colour 😎
I was the second owner of D636 RVR and there isn’t a cosworth I haven’t owned and that £60000 record breaker is clown shoes, tell me who purchased it and humble me. I don’t mind people scamming a £ but give me a taste or lower my insurance. Any future reply is welcome 😊
The problem is if you care and to buy one like this you do you couldnt use it. If you did you would devalue it.
The real question is why would you buy one brand new and never use it?
@@davechapman5815 Not many would do that as you take a massive risk for even now very little return. 88~24 37 years of ownership, care and maybe some sort of insurance? I doubt it was deliberate.
The original Cosworth was a track refugee and not really a daily like the later Saph. I imagine the majority would be in collections now with low mileages, if the car had been more expensive originally.
Only worth what some fool will pay, nice car but certainly not much of an investment in today's world.
Too right sir with a drone a helicopter and four squad cars - traffic cops got a better likes and subscription too the so called today's drivers they catch (15-35) age bracket careless PlayStation licence drivers with green tongue / powder noses🎉
Just needs a Ford sticker on the battery !
I don't care what people say about the value of cars because as much as you would like to argue the point, they are worth what people will pay for them. When it comes down to scarcity if you want the car you pay a premium for it. I have to go now or I'll miss the bus!
Nice !
Can we have a video on pauls snap on tool boxes im never seen anything like it
I used to sell them, they bolt together. They start as say the roll cab and bench then the lockers etc can be added on and built up. Those type of boxes are sold off a dedicated extra large truck that visits once a Yr. You can but them off a standard truck but they are too big to go on them. That set up will hane cost alot of cash and was usually bought by garage owners not private mechanics as it could then be offset against the business so vat could be claimed back and it came off the tax.
They will hit a million hey!
I’d buy and use it regardless of the depreciation, people need to see these cars being driven, as Jay Kay said and does with his cars
I understand using a car, but why not just buy a cheaper one to use daily in that case? A time warp example can never be repeated.
@@LeonLeon-mx1nv yeah I understand, but such a shame not to enjoy it and keep it for long term ownership, enjoy it. Rather than have a museum piece or garage queen.
I wonder when the ass is going to fall out of this market. I do hope never as mine was a tremendous investment but I prefer driving it and using it rather than look at it as an investment commodity. 17yrs of ownership and I’m still in love with it and it might sound a bit weird but I love the smell from the interior ❤❤
13000133000 miles it’s just run in 😂
Need a snap on tool wall video
Can we do a video on the tool box next time💪
Don’t forget guys you can 3d print most car parts even for cossies that will look identical inc labelling, personally I think price of the car is just too high. However like anything in life its worth as much as someone else is willing to pay for it..👍
When Adam Was Looking under Car Paul Said Exhaust was original......but when he Go's frew Service Book He Says All Fluids NEW EXHAUST ...... Witch one is it New Or Original?
Clean 😎
Snap-on's best customer 🏁😁
price goes up but the buyers are not there
Both very nice
Can we have a tool box tour
Amazing….just chuckle that tool box in the back of the van before you go Adam……
Brenda from Bristol 2017 "ANOTHER ONE"
Id buy it if in the position to do so & drive it on sunny days... beautiful car. 😎🙏👊👍✌
How much was that tool box ??????? its insane
Just wow, i dont know how you could part with that car, or the moonstone one, but then again, £265k may ease the pain😮
This Rs500 is somet different like not get many kicking about like this ya could eat ya dinner off that engine it's that clean who ever buys this is going to be one proud owner but have a canny dint in there pocket 👌🏻
😮 wow 😮
The best way to explain it is with the comparison to watches & paintings. You aren’t buying it for the driving experience.
I was more impressed with that tool box 😍
I seen no 456 (E300RAT) at a local show well I think that was the number through the window if anyone can confirm
They fetching crazy money for an old ford, I know they're rare, but who's going to be buying them in 20 years time? It's a bubble. Good luck to the seller.
A million pound Ford ,dream on!!!
@@G4RY1159prices can come down you know. In yrs to come the generation who love these will be dead and they will just look like some crap car to younger people.
A thing of beauty as they say "they don't make em like that anymore " great vid
The price will start dropping off as it does with any old car once all the 90s generation move on no one will want a sierra. My kids wouldn’t pay a grand for one so sell em quick while us 40/50 year olds are still around.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this sells at this price there’s a lot of ppl with plenty of coin.
I need a bigger living room to put it in don’t think I will get a shelf that big
You can get your interior very close to that, but it's unlikely now as super nice parts are more or less non existent.
'it'll come fully serviced for the owner' some value🤭
It's like watching "QVC"
Adam Paul. What’s the mileage. You’ve got clean pants on! Lol.
The pitch in your voice is a bit higher Adam... You can hear you are going through a tough time... Be strong pal!
What doesn't Paul know about 500's.... He's the man 🙌
Bubble gonna burst soon.
1/4 mill ££££ just rolls off the tongue now with these cars,
Nice looking car but money is tight, suggest hang onto it for another 5 years and it might realise the asking price.
New MOT probably pointless.this will be trailered away and never used on the road.
Like some have said £50k then sure i'd buy it myself, but how many other people would also buy it at that level... thousands of people! Then you'd have a bidding war and the ensuing silly sale price dictated by the richest few percent. Not hard logic to understand, when you realise eveybody and the dog would give £50k yet there's only one original 13k miles Cosworth available. Maybe some think the seller should say right it reached it's £50k reserve now lets stop bidding and draw straws to see who gets it...😂
Rare mustangs, Gt40s have sold for millions and their Fords, lest not forget Princess Diana’s Ford Escort R/S turbo sold for 675k
💪🏽🇬🇧👍🏽
Hmmm museum piece,, never touched I wouldn't drive it
Worth nearly as much as the Snap-On wall.
Could of sworn he said the exhaust was original early on in the video?
Glorified con man, he'd say anything if puts money in his pocket, even ripped Adam off with that shite box red escort Cossie,a true mate would warn you to stay clear
265k for an old sierra is absolutely ridiculous 🤣
I've you've got the money, you buy the honey. Loads of big bucks folks out there, that would not bat an eyelid paying that.
@@lemmykilmister450 absolute nonsense. No ford Sierra is ever worth that. They were crap when they were new . It's just all the old bloke wanting to re live their youth that's driving the prices up.
@@tompettersson3814 more fool on them I'd say. The bubble is eventually going to burst on these as I the old blokes that spend that kind of money on them die out..
@@bigerch85 that's basic market economics. A Rolex just tells the time like my phone, but folks happily pay £0000s
It’s nice and all but I just see a 20k max Sierra. You’ve got to really want one for that money. Suppose it’s a sellers market but it’s hardly a working man’s super car anymore. Can actually buy a super car for that money.
Thats a stunning car, like them in white.😎
Market’s obviously saturated with 2 this close together. I’ll take if for 5 grand 😊
It’s GT3RS money 👀
I bought a brand new Saphire Cosworth 4X4 in white with leather in 1991, for £19995! Keep it 10 years and sold it for £6500 with 31000 on it and fsh. Thought I was doing ok lol, guess no one knows what or where these prices are going? Great video😊
but you was a drug dealer. needed the money.
